It was a moist bready cake you would bake. The box showed the "cake" cut up in a perfect square.

Yeah I remember this. You would make it in a square pan...no frosting...just add water. It was good too.

Even the cake batter was yummy. I would want to almost wat half the batter, before cooking them !

Snackin' Cake mix did not require eggs, if I remember rightly, just water.

with snackin' cake you added a tablespoon (or such) of vinegar when making it.

I remember baking one of these cakes when I was a child - just add water and easy directions. Very tasty - too bad they aren't on the market anymore.
