Description
A Hostess-type cake snack..... Half-dome shaped. Creme-filled chocolate cake covered in a layer of marshmellow, then covered in bright pink coconut. Very good. There was also a version that resembled baseballs that came out later. The fun part of it was that you could peel off the marshmellow/coconut layer and eat it separately.

Snow balls are a gas station classic.

As a kid I desperately wanted them each time I saw these glowing pink orbs! I just got a craving - haven't bought one in eons!

Lmao! I used to peel the top off and only eat that. Not much of a cake person. And once I think I was in kindergarten, my mom made a cookie monster cake and used these as eyes.

It was usually pink. They also made white, green for st. pats day, orange for Halloween and brown ones too.

Can't seem to find these in green anymore..only white. Wanted to put in lunchbox for sweetie for St. Patrick's day. Hostess Sno-Balls seem way smaller since new company took over.
