Description
I know these didn't come out IN the 80s, but they still deserve mention as nothing compares to the commercials for these things that ran during that decade - gigantic colorful slices of oranges, strawberries, lemons and cherries rolling and cascading through water. SO tantalizing. These - along with Skittles and Tootsie Pops - made up the standard "travel diet' for my sisters and I during long car trips with Mom & Dad. Cherry and Strawberry are out of this world. Orange is good for nothing. Lemon is only for when there's nothing else left.

The original four flavors were strawberry, orange, lemon, and lime. Lime was replaced by cherry sometime around June 1980; I remember because that's when I had my tonsils out. I miss having lime as a regular flavor. Shame we can't trade orange in for lime and have cherry, strawberry, lemon, and lime!
