Description
Sundance was a non-alcoholic beverage that I haven't seen since 1989 or shortly afterward. It was packaged in glass bottles. After searching to purchase some online, I found an article that said it was manufactured by Stroh Brewery Company in the '80's, but now by another company.

I remember this so well!! I can remember drinking this and pretending it was a wine cooler trying to be so cool. But this stuff and portable telephones do not mix very well at all. Was on the phone one night with my best friend, and was laughing and spit the stuff into the phone. My parents were so mad!! Great memories!!

Alas fellow fans of the Tasty Sundance, there will NEVER be any more. Nor will you ever be able to find some last existing case in the back of some forgotten corner of a store. Sundance is no more!! I started doing some research and found out that Sundance was the attempt of Stroh Brewery Company at making a non-alcoholic beverage. It was met with, as THEY thought, with very little success, so they stopped making the product. Then a few years latter, they went belly up and now the company is no more...too bad.

Yeah I remember the tasty "Sundance's" as well. Too bad they are gone, for i was one who searched high and low for them too! But guess what?! Although they have gone the way of the "Dodo", I bumped into some drinks of that very same genre by accident! If you remember and loved the taste of Sundance, head out to your favorite health food store or local market {anyone have a "Whole Foods Market" nearby?!}. Look in the beverage aisle and look for a bottled 12oz. soft drink called "Izze". It's all natural made from fruit juice and sparkling spring water {lightly carbonated}. No added sugar, no corn syryp, no color additives, no preservatives! Comes in many fruit flavors. Also look for {my fav} "The Switch" soft drinks. Made just like the "Izze", but i like them even betta! Use to come in 12oz bottles but I can only find them in 8.3oz cans now. Both are great! Enjoy!

I remember Sundance drinks so well - my Grandma use to buy them for me when I went to her house - I loved those drinks!! I was hoping somewhere I would find some but that doesn't seem to be the case. =(
