Back in the 80's, the nearest TB was 35 miles away. If I was in the neighborhood, I would stop in and have a couple. I even ate them when I was out west visiting family. Then they disappeared. My wife said she also liked the light as well. It wasn't cheap, but it was real good. One of my favorites.

Way back in the eighties, I had worked at a Taco Bell restaraunt in Northern California. When the Taco Light came aboard our menu my friends and I couldn't get enough. That crispy, airy light shell, along with sour cream and tomatoes is what made it "light". I could be wrong, but I believe they took it off the menu because the shell kept breaking when they would fry them in the store, or breaking before the customer would open the wrapper. I say,"who cares, It's gonna get chewed up anyway". I wish TB would bring it back, "for a limited time only", as a marketing test to see if it should be back for good. Please, Taco Bell, please???

I loved these, I ate them all the time. I havent found anything on the Taco Bell menu I like as much since. Wish they would come back!!

I want my toco light back.

I loved those as well...So I figured out a way to get the same taste just a little different vehicle. I order tostadas and ask that they be made on the mexican pizza shell (flour tortilla) add sour cream and you have it.
