These were very good, but whenever I bring up the subject of Reggie Bars nowadays, I sometimes hear references to chocolate-covered hot dogs rather than the wonderful and much-missed circular chocolate bar filled with caramel and peanuts

This was a great candy bar! As a Yankee fan thank God I liked them. The candy bar was great, Reggie was a great player but a major league a-hole.

I remember they used to sell these 3/$1 at IGA when I was a kid. I really didn't know much about Reggie Jackson but his candy bar was good. Wasn't there a peanut butter version as well?

Reggie! Reggie! Reggie! Remember back in the late 1970's, just after the Reggie Bar came out, might have been 1978, Reggie Jackson hit a big home run at Yankee Stadium and fans celebrated in a fun way. You see, it was Reggie Bar night and the field rained Reggie Bars! "Holy Cow will you look at what those hucleberries are doing, White?" Name the person who would have said that quote and who was White, and you win a Reggie Bar. By the way, great candy, as well. Remember there was a house that gave them out at Holloween and we were pumped up, baby! I tried going back, but the high school kid at the door recognized me and didn't give my another. I was in Junior High at the time.

Anyone think this candy bar will ever come back. I was only about 7 or 8, and only had it once, but I still remember how good it was. Maybe it will come back for a Hall of Fame World Serious, or something they call it.

Found someone on another page looking for The Reggie Bar! Boy was this a big hit; pardon the pun. And, yes, Reggie Chick, perhaps it will take a "Hall of Fame World Serious," or something like that.

Sorry grandpa, the "R" key sticks and I spelled your name wrong. It is: Lawrence Peter "Yogi" Berra. We love you very much

Total OMG! Just went on 80swebpage and left a post for another baseball candy bar which is the infamous "Oh Henry." I said there that I would come here and they have it. Didn't think they would. Loved this candy and it was great. Just don't put these together, or Reggie and Henry will have a fight. LOL I'm calling my brother right now. And it's great that old baseball players come on and comment. I'm telling my brother about the Yogi meditation baseball man because he likes the Yankees.

I just can't believe some of these posts. Then again, anything is possible. Hey, maybe they are for real; fact is stranger than fiction. And these Reggie bars were great! I bet if they brought them back, people like me would buy them for the kids. And not just Yankee fans. Hey, and what's up with the Met shortstop crying. That was actually kind of cool. May for a very real moment in a world full of phone sound bites. Reggie cried in the outfield when Thurman Munson died in the plane crash in Ohio. Look it up, as Archie Bunker would say.

I wanted one of these as a kid FOREVER. My mom finally got one for me as a 1st grader and I couldn't wait to try it at school. When I got there it was gone! I wlamed home to find it melting in the spring heat on the sidewalk. I never got to try it :(

Reggie, Reggie, Reggie is RIGHT! My boy Jim cheered for Mr. October while eating pizza from a cardboard box. Sold pizza back in Yankee Stadium back in the 70's and 80's believe it or not

Remember when I took the boys to Yankee games. I now have Reggie repro cards on my wall at work.

Hey Now. Reggie was quite a ballplayer in big games. And I loved this candy bar like a big leaguer. I bet it would still sell today because we love Reggie and it was good

People, cats, anyone would have gone for one of these! Well, maybe not cats because they don't eat chocolate, but still. This was a very good candy bar. And if you liked Reggie, it was a must!
