Think of mozzarella sticks, but with chopped veggies inside. They were breaded and similar to corn fritters. Schools served them in the cafeteria. Does anyone remember these? Are they available? I've looked in many different grocery stores and can't find them. :(

I made catsup a vegitable for school kids, but you know what? Maybe their parents could take some personal responsibility. Vegitable stick would have heped with the diets of our young.

Great comment from my old friend, Ronald Reagan. I'm a little sick now, and people say it could be any day, but I will live to see the new year. And, yes, we could have used them back in the '80s and folks do have to take more personal respnsibilty and understand government is not their mommie and daddy.

Oh my God! I knew I wasn't crazy, I remember those vegetable sticks from "preschool",they were so delicious too,and you didn't see mostly a lot of over weight kids like you do today! because they had real food in school then someone had to actually cook! On you tube, there is an Indian Chef that makes about the closest thing I've seen to them yet! they look good! We'll just have to make them ourselves guys!

Yes!!!! I loved those too. I can’t find them anywhere. I constantly look. I’m 38 and I last had them when I was 8. That’s 30 years and still want them. Haha. I looked up Morning Star to see about ordering online, didn’t see any listed. :(

I think ardor make something comparable to it. I'm checking on it still. I wish I could at least find a viable recipe to make them. It's good to see I'm not crazy
