Description
They always made this stuff look so darned good on the commercials. Remember how they'd always diss the "powdered" variety of mac & cheese?? In the 80s, you could buy Original, Bacon Bits, Fiesta & Spirals w/ Broccoli. They were all pretty bad, but you never wanted to admit that as a kid.

These look good on the box, but are so disgusting. The pasta holds no texture and the "cheese product" has no flavor. Aldi stores sell a better version with ACTUAL CREAMY CHEESE.

When these first came out, I couldn't get enough of them, but I just don't think they taste the same anymore

Mom didn't buy these alot for me & my siblings growing up. But when she did I would eat myself silly. They're still pretty good to me. A quick, tasty side that you can whip up to have with a main dish.

Boy, do I miss this kind of mac & cheese. While I occasionally still have mac & cheese, it's primarily the small Kraft boxes (the ones with the powder "cheese") I eat now. These are nowhere near as good as Velveeta was. I wish I had a time machine to transport me back to the good old days again.
