Seriously, I have been looking for it for years to no avail. I think they must have gone out of business. That's really too bad, I loved that stuff!!

I could of sworn that a Wallaroo was a chocolate bar? Maybe I'm wrong. That was back in 1984, a very long time ago!

My uncle stole a crate from the back of a delivery truck. Haha... Anyway, some of it ended up at my house, where I think I drank the most of it. God I wish I had some now. I'd be willing to pay in compensation (with interest) for the boxes my uncle stole. :( By the way, does anyone know what company produced them?

This is actually a commercial jingle that still surfaces in my head from time to time. It was a lightly carbonated juice drink. It was similar to "Sundance". I LOVED it as a child!

I am 26 yrs old, and even I remember this drink!:) My parents used to buy it, and I don't remember how old I was when I drank it but I know I was younger than 10. I LOVED it!!! I was thinking about it today. You know how you just come across something in your mind every now and again that you miss? Well it was like that. I was SURE I could find it online! I mean, what CANT you find online! I guess this:( It was so good I wish I could find out if anywhere makes it anymore. If there are many others out there who like it as much as I did, they could probably make a whole lot of money still :) We should start a petition for them to bring it back! That is if anyone could figure out who the makers were. While we're on the topic of drinks; does anyone remember that soda drink Delaware punch? OMG I LOVED that drink too! It was like hawaiian punch but different. Every fourth of July my Dad used to buy it for us when we went to watch the fireworks. Lol. It's funny the stuff you remember as a kid.

Wallaroo was a sweetened sparkling water & fruit juice imported from Australia and distributed by McKesson Corporation/ Alhambra Water/Sparkletts back in the late 80's. In 1990 they stopped production because of Koala Springs International's announcement of a nationwide recall of its beverages after trace amounts of benzene were detected in their products. The amounts were negligible and while Wallaroo was not recalled, McKesson did stop production. My kids loved it too and wished often they could find it again. But never fear ~ after years away Koala Springs is coming back in spring of 2011 with many of its original flavors. Check out their website for more information at koalasprings.com.

Hey thanks Pete, do you know if they gonna bring back everyones favorite?
CPA - March 10, 2011 - Report this comment
Why did McKesson stop production of Wallaroo if their main competitor, Koala Springs, recalled their beverages? Since Koala Springs was the primary competition for Wallaroo, it seems that McKesson (Sparkletts) would have stepped up production in light of KS's recall, not ceased production.

Are you interested in buying coin operated horses or spring rocking horses??? They are sold on Ebay. Most spring horses are made by Blazon, Wonder, Flexible Flyer, and Radio Flyer. Feel free to buy as many as you like. Good luck!!! :) Ebay account required.

I was looking for something cold to drink but did not see anything I wanted. I really wanted a Wallaroo. It has been so many years since I had one and I still miss it.
