Description
These were wheat crackers similar to saltines. They were brown and yucky tasting. They came in a box half the size of regular saltines.

Around 1985, this was my favorite cracker. It was the first whole-grain-type cracker you could find in the average chain grocery store. I'm sure that the crackers of today are better, but... I don't know... Wheatsworths were pretty good...

I remember they had a commercial with the handyman from Newhart in it. He was saying how boring he is and how he loves boring things and then he about has an orgasm because the Wheatsworth are so delicious.

I remember the Wheatsworth commercial that had the baker with the lisp. He be taking the crackers out of an oven and he say, "weestworth." I think it was from the early '80s. I'd love to see that ad again.
