I'm not completly sure if these were made after the 80s or not, but I was born in '82 and I remember these from when I was young. They were in a blue or green bag that had an owl on it.

When I was about 5, the Wise potato chip truck driver gave me and my friend a free bag each! :)

I remember Wise potato chips. But what I especially miss from them is the Wise Cheese Waffles. Man they were good. Little "waffles with cheese sandwiched between them. They came in a bag and was sold around the potato chips.

Wise Potato Chips and other Wise snacks such as Dipsy Doodles have been a market leader in the New York Metro area for over 50 years. Yet there are localities nearer Berwick, PA where you can not find them.

Remember wise potato chips they had a joke printed on the inside of the bag, and only cost a quarter!

Wise potato chips were the all time best potato chips ever made! Nobody else even comes close. Couldn't eat them in summer school in around 1975 and was sad, but got to bring the left over bag home after we had an outside little party. You see, I had a bad sour throat, but got better!

They sold these as snacks in my elementary school's cafeteria (I can't even remember how much they cost back then, maybe 35 cents? This was around 1985 or so). I especially loved the Dipsy Doodles and the onion rings (or "Onion Flavored Rings" I think they were called).
