We used Zar-rex with the Snoopy SnoCone machine all the time. I can still taste the sweet syrup mixed with shaved ice!

When I spent my summers in the late 40's and early 50's with my grandparent in Hudson Valley, she would buy Zar-Rex and make ice cold summer drinks. I was a thick, sweet syrup that came in many fruity flavors.

Is Zar-Rex still around? I remember when I was a kid in the 50's, you could get this in a small jug for 25 cents. Sure would like to find some now.
