I loved these! I had the jewelry box/house for them too...I remember the lone male figure was named Pop Corn...don't ask me why I remember...

Major point over looked in the description, they all had their own smell/fragrance. They smelled so good!

OMG! Yeah, they did smell and I had the little purple "baby" one in the picture and I LOVED her! She smelt sooo good. I took her on vacation and left her behind by accident. I'll never forget that :(

My sisters had a bunch of these. I remember them so well because my sister and i were fighting one day rolling all over the ground, and somehow i swallowed one partly. I ran down stairs to my mother who was on the phone, meanwhile i had a charmkin caught in my throat! Eventually i coughed it up, but it scared the crap out of me, and we probably couldn't play with them for a while.

These were so cute! Aww! I remember they were made with bendy plastic. I can't really remember the smell though.

I had the house and so many Charmkins. They kept me busy for hours. Brown-Eyed Susan was always my favorite. :)

I used to have Molly Berry, I remember it smelled so sweet! It didn't come in a chain or choker, so I just put a ribbon through it and hung it around my neck. I lost it when we moved houses, though.

yeah i still had about 4 of them still do but i am willing to buy all of em and i still remembered them istill have stickers of them and coloring book and some of the stickers and i am still lookin for them my father thinks that i needed to growed up but he understood me because he never had toys when he growing up although my mother rooled her eyes at us cause she thinks that we are childish but so what i still loved lee majors the six million dollar man did you know that he was adopted and look at him yeah i collected him too and yeah i remembered them when i was growing up back in the 80's and i loved everything about them 80s you rock and i loved all of the barbies too . . .

My friend and I were having a great time throwing my peach charmkin around one day in the back garden and chasing after her until...yep you guessed it.....she just disappeared in the flowerbed and 20 years later she is still missing presumed lost, oh no!

I really like the 80's because I like all their toys, music and cartoons. They really bring me back memory

I still have all my charmkins. went through my toys along time ago and found a few of them and started going on ebay and buying them back. now i have all the play sets and charmkins. it took me forever to complete the collection. there is a website i know that has information on them. it's called chanth.com

My mother once knocked one of my Charmkins down the sink drain when she was putting my hair into a ponytail. It was the very first time I told her I hated her (the next being during the tumultuous teens). I remember the loops on their heads would break after a while...too many times jamming their heads on those hooks...

I never had these when I was a kid. I was too young (only a year old when they came out in 1983), but I grew up watching the Charmkins cartoon special on TV. I gotta tell you, Ben Vereen as Dragonweed really stole the show!

I remember the little poison ivy one(little leafy green dress and red hair) was one you couldn't just buy at the store. You had to send away for it. That made it super cool and special! They also smelled nice if you remember!

I had the house with all of the furniture and the bracelets that had charms hanging off them. I had a parrot in a bird cage. There were little babies and I sold all of it in a yard sale when I was little. I am searching now for all of them and they are pretty expensive.

Charmkins we love hanging around. her in charm world were were all out to play. the nicest thing aqbout charmkins is there jewelry. remember that comercal? I had the brown eyes susan necklace and the purple dog key chain.

Does anyone remember the Charmkins cartoon special? I still have it on VHS somewhere. It had the voice of the girl from Annie playing Poison Ivy. I don't remember the storyline but the villian was some sort of brown thistle.

I just used some hand lotion the other day that totally made me think of the Charmkins smell. The lotion was honeysuckle from Bath & Body Works - great for a nostalgic trip down memory lane!

I feel like I'm in elementary school again. Awww...we had some cute toys in the 80's. Toys are crappy now. Bratz, High School Musical, Hannah Montana...blah! But the 80's toys are making a comeback!!!

I totally remember these! My mom had to keep purchasing a Brown Eyed Susan for me because I was not the only one in the family that loved her! My dog Trigger use to eat her everytime I left her on the floor!

Wow, Shawna, that's probably why I love Bath & Body Honeysuckle smells.........they remind me when I was a kid!! I totally miss these toys, and the Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake!

I remember these but I never had them. I think my mom probably wouldn't buy them for me 'cause they were so small. She probably assumed I'd lose them! Really cute though.

I used to love my charmkins. Whenever I smell girl's curve perfume, it reminds me of them. I don't know if one of them smelt like it or it was all of them in the house together that gave off that scent.

I have been selling my charmkin collection at ebay, i think i have 6 listed right now and another 6 or so to list over the next week.

To Lisa and Shawna (above)- I think the same thing every time I use that scent lotion! LOL Couldn't remember what these toys were called until found them on here.

My sister and I (both around 30 now) were in Banana Republic this weekend, and they had a perfume that immediately reminded us of this toy from our childhood. We could picture it perfectly but couldn't remember its name. We called our mom, and she couldn't remember either. But I found it here! Charmkins! Thanks so much! What a fun site!

My fav on was dragon weed I loved the smell. I can't remember what smell it was, and I am looking to buy him and or the set he might have came in. I know he was a mail in order I would pay big bucks just to have him again it ment that much to me.

I LOVED THESE! I think my sister and I had every single one. I remember the windmill house best. I would play with these for hours. So glad to find them again.

I loved Charmkins!I got em stuffed in my stocking Christmas morn. I remember taking them to school on a rainy day for indoor recess. I introduced them all and the one with green leaves and red hair in the pic above is Poison Ivy. I remember a boy held her and announced that she was now Poison Sumac b/c that's what he had. (Har Har)Never caught it and she was my fav.

I still have Baby Sunshine and Buttercup the dog! Used to take Buttercup everywhere. I remember my best friend had the little rabbit and I was so jealous!

I love mine too. I have still got them. I even got a tulip windmill house when I went to Holland. Just waiting for my daughter to be old enough so she takes care of them!

I had Bunny Bunch and Buttercup and they still have their scent after all these years! I also had Hyacinthia who I had forgot all about.

The Body Shop has managed to bottle this smell in their Moringa products! Sadly, not vegan, but as soon as I sniffed it, I was transported to the 80s... ahh childhood...

I had to laugh whenI ran across this. Most people look at me strange when I mention this toy from the 80's. I ran across an old charmkin toy I had when I was little. White sunglasses with pink lenses that had a charmkin on each side. I still have the glasses and one charmkin. Not sure where the other went.

We had the windmill and a jewellery box house - played for hours with these one new years eve when we were allowed to stay up. I don't think ours had a scent though.

I was guven the jewelry case and about 20 of the charmkins fir my birthday one year. I am now 38 and would love to have them all back! Them and the my little pony set.

These things were the coolest yet simplest toy's to own. I some how appreciated my minimalist toys the most.

While cleaning today behind a covered I found Hyacinthia, cute as a bug and she smell nice. I am going to give her away to a cute little African American girl I know. \
