Description
A lime-green variant of the big wheel did without handlebars and front-wheel steering in favor of two levers attached by metal rods to a pivoting rear axle. By pulling one lever all the way back and slamming the other forward, you could spin the green machine out--impossible on a big wheel. There was also a variant of the green machine called the "Blue Max."

I loved this thing. I love pedaling to the end of driveway as hard as I can and push the left steering lever forward and right lever backwards - man what a 180 degree spin-out. My brother had a similar toy called the "midnight rider". Same concept, just dark blue and yellow.

Had one of the 1st flight machines when it first came out. I rode that thing til the wheels wore thin and split at the seams. Good times! The 2nd flight are beefier and have RUBBER tires! Where were you when I was kneehigh to a grasshopper?
