I received a magic nursery baby for Christmas one year. I remember taking off the hat and it was a boy (which I was disappointed about because I wanted a girl). But I disolved the diaper package and I found out I had twins! I sent in some info and received a girl twin that matched my boy doll. Very neat!

I had the one like in the picture here, which was a 'toddler' and I also had one that was considered a newborn. It's eyelids appeared and disappeared with heat or cold as if it were sleeping or awake.

I saved my allowance to buy mine, and she was a baby girl and only had hair at the top of her head. They packaged them up so you can't tell the sex, and then you put the package under water and it dissolves and tells you the sex and comes with an outfit.

I got one of these for Christmas when i was about 9 years old. It became my favorite doll of all time, we were inseperable. Until one day, during a family function, i was talking to my mother's friend and she told me that she wanted a baby girl just like mines but that she couldn't have one because she couldn't have babies anymore. I felt so bad for her that i gave her my 'baby' and told her to pretend like it was a real baby girl. Soon after, my family and i moved away and never saw my mom's friend again...nor my baby girl. I'm 23 and still long for my all-time favorite doll!!!

I asked for a magic nursery doll every year for christmas! And every year i got one until they didn't produce them any more and my mum couldn't find them. I still have them: 3 babies and 1 doll...nicole, michelle, danielle and melissa...all girls! I loved dipping their bibs into water and kissing their cheek to reveal the heart. They were the best dolls ever, i wish they were still around! Im 23 and intend on keeping them forever and ever.

I received my first magic nursery doll when I was ten. A few years later when I had heard they were stopping production I begged my parents to buy me a second one. I saw one in a store with my mother but she couldn't afford it I later found out that it was one of the final two in NSW. I am now 25 and spent much of my time during the last 5 years collecting them from garage sales and ebay and restoring many of them back to their early day glory. I intend putting them up on a website for sale to enable others to share in the joy of these little darlings. I have approx 250 in my current collection.

Did anyone else have the Magic Nursery Babies Pets?? I have a cat and I believe a bear maybe....??? I know you had to dissolve the diaper to find out what kind of animal it was.

There was also one, I wish I could think of the name... it was smaller and an infant. It came in a backpack/belly pack and when you pressed on it you could feel your magic nursery baby kick... this doll was about 6" tall and came out a few years after the actual magic nursery. I am contemplating giving this to my niece as she is just to the age she likes to hold baby dolls, or keeping it to see if I have kids of my own!

I LOVED Magic Nursery Babies. I had the one in the backpack, the triplets and I think 2 or 3 of the toddlers. (Including the one with the teeth you could make appear!)

Adorable, Adorable, Adorable! I had quite a few of these I loved them so much. I had one where you put water to its eyes and their eyes would close and I believe it came in the cloth bag that had a white heart on it, and the blue bunny, etc. I don't have them anymore except for the bunny and years after I went to a few garage sales and bought some. Why aren't they back at the stores!!!!!!

I remember WELL the Magic Nursery dolls, I owned a bunch as a kid. The backpack one is called "My Bundle Baby" I actually bought a couple on ebay, one still in a box. As well as the Fuss'N'Giggle Triplets--in box as well. Call me crazy, it's just a fun memory from my childhood I enjoy looking back on. How sweet would that be if they brought them back?!

Magic Nursery babies were my all time favorite dolls! My best friend and I used to play with them for hours! My favorite part was dissolving the diaper to find out if it was a girl or boy!!! I also liked the newborn one that came in the bag that would "kick"

When I was very little (I was about 4 years old, these are the first toys I remember) I had several Magic Nursery Dolls. I had got a special one from my Grandfather. I lost it when I was growing up but I still cry when I think about those babies and about how I miss them.

I have a vague memory of putting a packet into a basin full of water and out came these girls clothes! It was very exciting. I had forgotten all about Magic Nursery dolls until today when I was upstairs cleaning out my attic. I have a little girl with a star on her cheek, there is a faint outline of where the heart used to be.

I am 26 now, but I remember getting my Magic Nursery Baby at the age of 6 or 7. It was a few weeks before Christmas, and I really wanted one. I had been sick, and my grandmother wanted to give me a dose of nasty tasting medicine. She bribed me by buying the doll only if I promised to take the medicine. I agreed, and it was worth it! I had a girl that I named Rene'. I kept her and I few other dolls until just a few years ago!

I still have mine! I got one for Christmas when I was little and they were having some sort of special that if you sent in your UPC you got another one. Was kinda boring that I got two girls but I loved them anyway and have held onto them all these years to share with my children.

My memories of these dolls are bittersweet because they were unfortunately the cause of one of the most TRAUMATIC "best-friend-fights" I've ever had! Nowadays I wonder why I ever considered her my best friend cuz all she did was bully me around. She was so bossy & would have a jealous tantrum anytime something good happened to me. Anyway, we were both given a Magic Nursery doll by my mom for Christmas. We dissolved our packages at the same time, & when we discovered that I got twins & she got a boy, all HELL broke lose! She accused me of switching gifts, called me a liar & a cheater, blah blah blah...it made me cry. But my mom was close friends with her mom so she always MADE me "do the right thing" & let her win. We switched dolls & the rest of my Christmas vacation was filled with her rubbing it in my face that she was getting a twin in the mail & I was stuck with a boy :( [needless to say, my mom knew she was a brat & eventually bought me several more magic nursery dolls to reward me for silently enduring that torture]

I didn't have a magic nursery baby, but I do remember having a magic nursery PET !!! I came home, from the KMART with my mom, and hoping I would get a puppy. I nervously unwrapped the packaging, dissolved the package in water and - IT WAS A PUPPY !!! An adorable peach puppy, complete with panites and everything !!! Of course, I lost my precious little Clownie Anna( that was my name for her ) over the years, and if Ebay sells magic nursery peach puppies, I will reclaim her all over again. Ebay sells EVERYTHING, and I would not be surprised if I did see a magic nursery peach puppy for sale one time. If I do, I am sure to buy her.

Guess what I just bought today at a local outlet store?! Two BRAND NEW Magic Nursery dolls, in their original boxes!! Brand new and never opened! Now I have to decide whether to keep them and open them to see what gender they are and what clothes they are wearing - OR to sell them on ebay? Hmmm.... What do you think?

I'm 24 now and I just found my old magic nursery toddler in my mom's attic! I've heard of all of the different kinds of toddlers but I don't know which one mine is- I know she's not the first haircut or the first tooth. She has brown hair and a cute little jumper outfit - I can still see her outline of a heart on her cheek, too. Someone help me!
