This toy was also released with a voice box inside that would quip lovable ALF phrases when you squeezed his tummy.

I think we used to have an ALF doll. I don't remember ever liking it. I liked the show better, so did my dad.

I loved ALF when I was 4. I loved the show and my doll. My mom eventually tossed the ALF in the trash. I must have got to obsessive or something. Poor ALF.

My all time favorite show. My mom went to the mall in a thunderstorm to get me the plush. I later got the talking version for my birthday which I immediately had to run out locate some friends and show him off. I also had a smaller hand puppet and one of the Burger King ones. The one with the hawaiian shirt. I hated Burger King at the time but I choked it down for Alf.

I loved watching ALF on tv. It was so funny. We even bought the talking Alf when you squeeze his stomach. Unfortunately the voice box broke and I was wondering does anyone know if and where I can get another one?

I gave my Mom my ALF doll when I left my ex for safekeeping. That was in 1991. I took him home for good after we cleaned out her house after her death in March, 2013. He is still pristine, and I'll never part with him.

While most of the TV sitcoms of the 1980s were a bit too tame for my tastes, ALF struck me as hilarious! On NBC from 1986 to 1990, this alien named Gordon Schumway escapes his home planet of Melmac, as the planet disintegrates, landing in the Tanner back yard in Los Angeles. In the finale, ALF is reunited with Rhonda and Skip, his Melmacian friends, but is captured by an agency investigating UFOs, and the series ends. Two seasons of ALF cartoons were made from 1988 to 1990. First was of his adventures on Melmac, including a hated band of cats. The second season was "ALF Tales," in which he starred in remakes of classic plays and movies.
