I am 25 years old and I used to have an Alvin plush when I was little, I don't remember the age. It was so darling. I want the toys to come back with the plushes. I have the DVD of the Chipmunks go to the Movies though that I got from target and they have them on Youtube also. I used to watch them a lot when I was little also, and have a vhs of them I bought maybe 2 years ago from a garage sale.

I had all kinds of Chipmunk stuff...the plasitc toys, the plush toys and records and even an Alvin and the Chipmunks lunchbox in 1st gr. in 1984. It was yellow and had the 3 Chipmunks whitewater rafting. It had a cool square shaped thermos with the 3 chipmunks lazily floating on their backs smiling. What would rock was when my mom put hot soup in the thermos and give me a juice box to drink. News says 19 million kids are on free/reduced lunch today. My fam. never had much $ but homemade lunches in lunchboxes were cheap and stylish. The poor kids today! :(

Back in 1981, my 8 year old daughter loved listening to Alvin and The Chipmunks. She has all of their old albums. However, at the time there weren't any plush toys of the Chipmunks. So, just before Christmas, I after I purchased their Christmas album, I made her a whole set of the Gang as hand puppets out of felt to look exactly like the cover on their Christmas album. I even made Alvin's hat, Simon's glasses, the guitars and shoes removable with Velcro backings. That Christmas morning, she was so surprised when got them. For many months, she had so much fun playing with them and having them dance along with her & their music. Presently, they are all packed up in tissue paper in a very nice box which has been their home for years. Plus, we also still have all of the records which are in mint condition for I taught her to take care of things. After I made them, I wrote in to their creator telling him about the puppets I made. They must of got my message for shortly after that the plush toys came out. Those puppets were really fun to create and make and it was really fun to watch my daughter have so much fun with them. They are very happy memories! Thank you

I saw the second Chipmunks live-action movie. It was funny. My cousins had it and they let me borrow it.

I remember a sadness and withdrawl when I outgrew the chipmunks. I became a HUGE fan of em in 81 when I was 3. By 89 I was 11 and didn't wanna give em up.I mean it was like puberty was knockin on the door and I still wanted my chipmunks. Us humans grow up n get old. Cartoonish chipmunks only change in style by each decade. Somewhere after 1993 they disappeared.I guess grunge/alternative music scared em away. It was cool to see em back in 2007. Now my little boy loves em.

Are you interested in buying coin operated horses or spring rocking horses??? They are sold on Ebay. Most spring horses are made by Blazon, Wonder, Flexible Flyer, and Radio Flyer. Feel free to buy as many as you like. Good luck!!! :) Ebay account required.

Ross Bagdasarian, Jr. (David Seville, Jr.) really capitalized on his father's creation in TV, movies and merchandising. Personally, I found the 1961 Chipmunk cartoons were much funnier than those of the eighties. The 1961 cartoons were made entirely in America, and I always laughed when the elder Seville yelled, "AL-VIN!!" Just as funny, on the original series, the misadventures of the time-challenged inventor, Clyde Crashcup, with his mute assistant, Leonardo. Records were the main focus of Ross, Sr., starting with "Witch Doctor," in 1958. The early Chipmunk toy list included Soaky (bath soap) bottles, comic and coloring books. Post Cereals and Jell-O sponsored "Alvin" in prime time for one year, followed by three years (1962-65) on Saturday mornings, over CBS-TV.
