Description
They were toys from McDonalds but were fairly popular. They were little green space men in purple outfits doing various activities. You could even mail away for an astrosnick SPACESHIP!...We did!

OMG!!! I had a red Astronicks sweatshirt with the characters and a spaceship decal on the front....When I pressed it, it made a squeak noise. I believe I took a picture with it on. This website rocks!!!!! Early 90's and earlier were the best decades esp. the 80's!!!!!

I currently have around 30 Astronicks and the Space ship, in really good condition. All the stickers on the space ship are like new, and it hasn't yellowed over the years. I have it displayed in my ntoy room with the figures surrounding it.

I think I had all of them at one time. I usually pestered my mom & dad to take me to McDonald's so I could get the latest Happy Meal rubber toy that I saw on the t.v. adverts. Anyone else remember the Space Raiders line from the late 70's/early 80's? I still remember what these things smelled like after opening the package that they came in. I had a few of these toys and because I was an intelligent child I used to chew on them also. Astrosnicks and Space Raiders is when McDonald's toys were actually fun. You had to use your IMAGINATION to play with them (that's spelled I-M-A-G-I-N-A-T-I-O-N. It's a novel idea, isn't it?).
