I'm told this doll was named after me. My Grandfather was an executive at reliable toys in Toronto during the 60's and 70's. I was born in 64 and when the company was looking for a name for a new doll they were making my Grandfather submitted my name and it was accepted. I had a few of them throughout my childhood, but they were passed down when I outgrew them. I really wish I could find one for sentimental reasons.

I too had a few Baby Brendadolls through out my childhood, and I still have one and my 3 year old daughter loves her, but she is starting to dall apart. I am desperatly seeking another on efor her. If anyone knows where to get one... please let me know.

I just found my eldest daughters Baby Brenda doll tonight. I'm so glad that I'm a packrat! My husband had bought her for Emma's 1st birthday which would have been April 1984. And yes he probably bought her at the local Sears store. Now our daughter is about to have her 1st baby -so I went on a hunt tonight and found Brenda tucked away. We always thought the best thing about her were those eyes that close when you lay her down. I'm taking her off to a local doll hospital and will have her cleaned and restored and then dress her up and hide her inside one of my baby shower gifts - perhaps a snugli or a carseat....

It looks alot like my Baby Lorrie Doll. I got it for Christmas when I was about 2. I called her Baby. Then I found the pictures from that Christmas.

I have a Baby Brenda Doll......my sister gave her to me for a Christmas gift when I was about 5. I am now 35 years old. My daughter is 5 now and LOVES playing with her......I DO have a picture of me holding her Christmas morning when I got her but it's at my Mom's. I'll get my hands on it next Spring and will post it here. She was wearing a white soft material suit, trimmed in blue ribbon. Cheers...
