I had Bakoo as a kid and well... it was really sort of amazing. I loved him and his story. I really wish I could find another stuffed animal of him, but he hasn't been in production in years I don't think.

My sister had bah koo when she was younger and we got a puppy one year for x-mas and the puppy destroyed both the book and the stuffed animal. She was very very upset. I know it would mean so much to her if I could find them both for her, even though she's going to be 30 this year

I was about 3 when I got my Bakoo, I thought I lost him. The other day I was going through some boxes and I have him with his book. I will never let him go again. I'm now 29.

I have searched for Bah Koo for many years now and finally found him online. If you spell it like I did and leave a space it will come up. I bought Bah Koo for my son when he was a little boy. He is now 28 and I am looking to purchase the book for my grandchildren. Bah Koo saved my son from many bad dreams and me from sleepless nights because of the dreams. My son still has many fond memories of this great little warrior. We were so sad to discover the book was missing and had probably been given away in some books by mistake. Although the book is now selling online for a lot of money we still think it will be worth every penny. If you are lucky enough to still have a first edition book you might want to hold onto it. They are selling upward to 1,233! Can't wait until we have the book back on our shelf again :)

I had my bakoo from my grand parents who shortly after giving it to me passed. I still have mine. I was lucky enough one day while browsing for Halloween stuff at the local goodwill found another bakoo brand new. So of course for 3 bucks I bought it. I see many of you have lost the book . I still have mine as well nearly new . So suprised to see this much of a following but I did love mine for w very long time

Mark do you have a bah Koo you are willing to part with and sell me. I lost mine when my parents split up when I was younger annd have been on the search for a new one sense I was 17. I find a lot of books but am unable to find the original bah Koo. Although I find many similar but want the one I had in my childhood.

Hello, my name is Whitney. I too searched for years for Bah Koo. I finally found a website that sells a new version of Bah Koo and I bought one for each of my two youngest children. A few days later I found a woman who had the original 1987 version w/ the 1st ed. boo, and she sold it to me for $25. Then later that day I found another one on Ebay that was also the original w/ the 1st ed. book in the original box with the plastic still wrapped around it. It was a bidding auction with no reserve and I actually got it in "Mint Condition" for $60! Thats insane, the bah koo by himself I've seen go for over $300. Now people are buying the new version and are trying to pass it off as the original. Anyway, I wanted to let you know there are two for sale on Ebay right now. I'll put the links at the end of this message. I know your post is old and I hope youve found one, but if not here is your chance! This is website that sells the new version (the colors are much darker than the original). Just Bah Koo is $24.95; just the book is $16.90; and the set is $41.35. Shipping is free for everything. https://bahkoo.com Here are the two Ebay listings,I've examined the pictures and both are the original Bah Koo. Here's the link to the 1st one and its $56.86 (including shipping) http://r.ebay.com/7968Ez Here's the link to the 2nd one and it's $55.99; however it's a best offer auction. So right now the price is 49.99 and then shipping is $6.00, but you can clike "Make an Offer" and put it whatever you want. http://r.ebay.com/icgxqj Like I said I know your post is very old, but I hope this helps if you haven't found one yet. It was my favorite childhood toy and I spent over a decade looking for it. If you ever need help determining if a Bah Koo is the 1987 version I'd be happy to help. Sincerely, Whitney Horst

Hello, I was 8 years old in 1987 when I got Bah Koo as a gift for Christmas the weird part it didn’t say who it came from. My childhood was a nightmare it self so Bah Koo helped me in life and in my dreams, the weird thing too I lost the book I guess we don’t need it if he is our friend for life lol Well I am 40 years old and my good friend Bah Koo is 32 we are still together 😊 I had to save him once from my wicked mother I was around 12 she tossed him in the kitchen trash how I cried but when she fell asleep I saved him lol He was the only friend I had ...
