I REMEMBER THIS BEAR. It was white with red blinking eyes and it had a dark green hood/robe on

I have one. Actually you don't squeeze it, it is light sensitive in the one eye. Only it's nose lights up. It is really cute and still works after all these years!

These were a must at grade school slumber parties. Mine was tan. Their eye was light sensitive they beeped & eyes light up.

These were also called CHUBBLES I believe (the ones with the coloured robes and hoods anyway) I had a couple. Their eyes would light up (light/dark sensors) and they'd make a chuckling sound. they were released by Animal Fair, back in the 80s.

these things creeped me out!!! like tamara, mine was branded as a chubble. they reminded me of the little villains in super mario brothers 2.

I had a beeople, mine was dark brown and it looked like it was bigger than this one, maybe the larger is the Beeople and the smaller is the chubble

I still have my blue robe Chubble, My son loves it,The only thing bad about it is the battery is only secured with velcro, I have to either empty the toy box to find the 9V or put a new one in it.

Chibbles and Chubbles! I loved these creepy little dolls that would laugh manically whenever there was a change in light or noise. My parents used to sneak in my room and steal their batteries. They rocked!

I thought they were Ewok dolls I didn't even know until just now that they had nothing to do with Star Wars... lol you learn something everyday!! ;) My cousins had several of them!

I'm watching Star Wars right now and the Ewoks made me think of my blue robed Chubble. I was too young when I got him to remember what he was really called, so I grew up calling him a "Chub Chub." I still have him in a box in the basement and I love him.

I have this!! but he doesnt work..I think the wiring got messed up. Hmmm wonder if hubby can fix it when I get it out of storage!

I know about these chubbles I have 2 blue and one red one still and only one has wire issues due to he was my original. They respond to light change or movement kinda like furbies and the beeping like noise is their language that they speek.

I had two, one was in a purple robe, the other blue. The purple one went off due to change of light and the blue one I believe was sound sensitive.I still have the purple chubble and it works!I have not changed the battery since WELL...ever I don't think...strange.

I vaguely remember these things. Never knew what they were called when I was a kid, so I always called them "those things that look like jawas" LOL!
