I had about every figure in this line including the big blue castle playset. Man I really liked it, for a while I guess. I can't remember what happened to it. I guess it was a yard sale special right before we moved.

I have been trying to remember the name of this toy line for a long time. I had TONS of these things. I remember my mom going out and buying extra flint when it ran out. Problem was....the flint was too large. Come to find out...it was a special size made for the toy. The little goblin guys....came in just about every color you can imagine right before the canceled production. Some of my favs

The balloon ship in this line was one of the coolest vehicles off all time. The reason this line dies can be summed up in 4 words="Masters of The Universe!!"

Actually, Masters of the Universe was the reason this line could LIVE. But it was a cool line in it's own right. I had a lot of the figures as a child. Would have loved to have had the Ice Castle playset. It was AWESOME!!

Masters of the Universe had nothing to do with Blackstar. If anything Blackstar made He-Man. Blackstar was around way before He-Man, Blackstar came out in 1981 the He-Man comic came out in December 1982 and the cartoon in 1983.

You are correct to a certain extent Full Metal. While I agree if it wasn't for the Blackstar cartoon then the He-Man cartoon might not have existed, the Blackstar toy line did not come out until after the cartoon had been long since cancelled. The Blackstar toys came out due to the success of the He-Man toys and came out a few months after He-Man line. I just wanted to clear that up.

Loved these. I had the lava guy and my brother had the knight. I think he sold both of them at a yard sale.

Blackstar was around before MOTU, I never said it wasn't, my point is MOTU got SO big and popular it sounded the death knoll for alot of other fantasy lines of that time, not to mention Mattel, the largest toy company in the world, out promoted any of these other smaller lines.

I still have my entire colletion of the original line of figures, trobbits, and demons.(Before the laser light series.) Still have Warlock, but my Ice Palace shattered like a lightbulb when something fell on it. I felt gypped as a kid cuz I was the only one who had Blackstar, while everyone else had He Man and a cartoon to go with it. I saw the old Blackstar cartoon ONCE! That was it!
