We gave Bucky to our son for his first christmas in 1985. It was one of his favorite toys. He rode it all over the house. His younger brother took over Bucky next and then we had day care kids in the house who also rode Bucky. After about 5 years Bucky had to be repaired with a long bolt through his chest. We gave him to a neighbor who had grandchildren about 10 years ago. We spotted and rescued him from the curbside trash pickup this week. He is a little faded but still in pretty good condition after 22 years. I will send a photo when he has been cleaned up a little.

We gave Bucky to our son on Christmas 1983. Now my son is having a child of his own and wants his own child to have one. In otherwords, it was my son's favorite toy. Can anyone help me find where I can purchase one? Do they no longer make Bucky. Any help would be appreciated

Bought Bucky for my daughter when she was 2, so would have been in 1980. She loved this horse. Broke his compartment, her dad had to get up in the middle of the night and drive 15 miles to fix it so she would not cry. (thought she killed the horse) funny now, not then. lol. Have looked for one for years, cant find it. Help.

Oh yes, Bucky...got one for my daughter in 1981. She loved her bucky. When she wa 4 I thought she out grew it so I decided to put it on my rummage sale. All of the sudden I heard her screamin...ran over to help when I saw her pulling this child off Bucky screaming " MY BUCKY".. needless to say Bucky stayed. Three years latter old Bucky got ran over when Daddy was backing up. Tears poor Bucky. When my daughter was 18 I found a Bucky at a sale and gave it to her.. She kept it in her room for years. Now she is 29 and is expecting a baby boy....here I am again looking for a Bucky. A Great toy that brought so much to the little ones. And memories and laughs to us parents....Thank You BUCKY

We bought Bucky for our son in 1983 for his 1st birthday, a fantastic toy, much loved, and my son used to keep his best cars in the seat compartment, along with chocolate wrappers and bits of lego! Although we moved house 9 times, Bucky came with us, sometimes kept in the loft, sometimes in the garage, once down the cellar - but never left behind! My son is now 27, married, living in Poland and has just had his first child, a daughter in October last year. We are in the process of cleaning Bucky up so we can give it to our grandaughter who I am sure will love it as much as her father did. Bucky has lost his neighing mechanism, and his nose is a bit mis-shapen as my son left him too near the gas fire one day, but apart from that, he is perfect. Have started the process of cleaning him up and will put more stickers on, but I hope all of you who want to find a Bucky have success

Our daughter received her "Bucky" when she was 16 months old for Christmas 1983. She and the two siblings born after her loved him. Later the five grandchildren would zip around our house riding him screaming with glee. We still have him and have spruced up his yellowed plastic look to be white again. He still neighs, as that daughter's almost eleven month old son rides him. Thanks for the memories and continued ones!

Who made Bucky the wonderhorse? Do you think I can still find one. It was my daughters favorite toy and now she has her little one and I would love to find one for her.

We gave our second daughter a Bucky the Wonder Horse for Christmas in 1984- she rode it before she could walk. When we built a new house it was getting faded and decals were coming off so we gave it to Goodwill- HUGE MISTAKE! Mistake because I tried to find one FOR ALMOST TWENTY YEARS to replace the one I carelessly gave away. Her oldest mentally challenged sister started to work at a local thrift shop three years ago and called me from work one day- SURE THING- someone had dumped off a Bucky- drove right down and got it for less that two dollars- took me five minutes to speed down there. A little rougher than the one we originally had but just to let you know: WAIT IT OUT! And watch those thrift stores, especially the "junky" ones! Thats where I hit my paydirt!

My youngest had a Bucky the wonder horse but it had a big center wheel instead of 4 wheels. He was fast on that thing! I just found one on Craigslist for my grandson for $50 including shipping. Can't wait to see him enjoy Bucky!
