Description

The first dolls to come out were scented and came with little muffin pans and an apron. Later they released some dolls that were less "muffin" and more "ice cream", and each of these came with a "freind" that looked like an ice cream sundae with shoes. These dolls were also scented and had glittery hair. There were about twenty different dolls in all. My best guess is that they were invented to be somewhat like the Strawberry Shortcake dolls, because they were all named after cake or ice cream flavors.

I used to have one, but for the life of me I can't recall what her name was. Very cute toy though. I haven't had the doll for the longest time, but had the other little pieces and couldn't figure out what they were until I looked it up on the internet. I never had any of the playsets.

I had Cherry and Chocolottie. If I could have any toy from my childhood again, it would be these dolls.

I got Chocolottie for my 6th birthday. I had four of the first group and 2 from the second group, but the only thing I kept was Gretta Grape and the white dress that went with the wedding cake set. I wonder who was getting married.

Would love to see CMM re-issued but please don't sell them at that awful walmart or TRU. Cherry wasn't getting married, she was just playing getting married. I need a Greta Grape!!

Ahem... "Cherry Merry Muffin... She looks sweet, she cooks sweet, she smells sweet too!!"LOL!! One of my fav. childhood dolls & commercials!! I LOVED the smell of her and the smell and the fact that her muffins smelled and the fact that they came out of the cooking tray!! Also her little cherry friend that came with it...(looked like a cherry, but with arms and legs and a face!!) I can't remember the name of the cherry though :( I only had Cherry Merry Muffin though... not her friends!! She is now at my Moms, for the Grandkids to play with!! To this day she still smells like cherries!!Mmmmm!!!

I had Grape Ice when I was a little girl. I remember I loved the way she smelled. SO GOOD!!! And I adored her little helper! I kinda wish I still had mine.

My parents must have decided to buy the whole line in 1988 bc I had all the dolls and accessories that came out that year, but none in following years. Loved those things especially the kitchen appliances .

I had Cherry Merry Muffin and Betty Berry. I also had the Pour n Chill playset. I don't have the dolls or playset anymore. I only have Sweet Cherry and Li'l Dip. Great toys.
