We ran a roller rink in 1988 and we had the big sit in version. I loved playing it you could land on the hostages and they would scream!but I was only 10 and the large dark partially enclosed bench seat made it a POPULAR game with the teenagers. So my parents sent it back and got the stand up version. It was still fun but mostly for me:)

Our Jr. High computer lab had Commodore 64s, and Choplifter was one of the great games. All of us Geek Kids would go into the lab during lunch and play the games. It was sweet.

I had Super Huey, spy v spy,and alot of other games for the commodore 64 and was pissed when they went out of business. but here they are talking about a toggle electric or battery powered heli game that gyrated round and round picking up and rescuing hostages. my friend had it,and we would play with it all the time.

I had the NES version of Choplifter. I always either ran out of fuel, or my copter kept getting shot down. On occasion, my main nemesis was the clock. You lost a life if time ran out.
