Description
(not sure what the acronym stood for on these). They come in a variety of colors blue, purple, orange etc etc. They were little girls and they had different type of sets like one was rock stars, it had one holding a guitar, one on the drums one with a mic. etc. The male version was called "M.U.S.C.L.E."

I had tons of these when I was kid. Recently, I purchased the entire collection off of ebay. There were actually only 50 in the set. Funny, it seemed like a lot more when I was a kid. There were 5 different sets--Rockity Rollers, Lovey Doveys, Bitsy Babies, Tiny Trendies and Gym Dollies. The orange and yellow ones in the picture are from the Gym Dollies collection. This is just me, but they have a butch like appearance. I know I seem dorky, but I figured I'd give a background on them in case anybody was interested. And to answer Marija's question, the pink one on the end is actually holding a guitar vertically. She's standing on one foot, so it does look like she's on a pole. I hadn't thought of that way, but now that I look, I see what you mean.

I actually found a dollarstore that was selling the original ones still in the boxes dated 1986. I bought 3 boxes of different ones.

I had quite a few C.U.T.I.E.S and my brother had M.U.S.C.L.E men. If I remember correctly, there were several different sets of these things to collect.

I recently rediscovered my C.U.T.I.E. collection during spring cleaning. I think I loved these more than any other toy as a kid. This is really sad, Im torn BTW keeping them for myself or passing them on to some child who will cherish these as much as I did.

Wow! This site is wonderful. I found some in a grab bag at the thrift store and immediately recognized them, but couldn't remember their name. Thank you for posting pictures to confirm my feeling that they were related to M.U.S.C.L.E. Men. And Katie, thank you for the biography! I also have to add that it's wonderful that our parents bought us multiple packages!

I found a big plastic bag of these and the M.U.S.C.L.E. men at Goodwill the other day for $2.99. I wasn't dumb; I bought them. My ex-nephews had the MUSCLES when they were little boys in the 80s. It was a great find, there are over 200 pieces, and all are different.
