Description
Kinda like paper dolls, but they were plastic and 3-D. You could pop different out-fits on them. They came with these little store front scenes that you could pop them into and like pretend they were shopping and stuff like that.

This summer I found Dolly Pops again and thanks to eBay, I now have a bunch of them. I used to have both the yellow and pink dollhouse cases. I also had Pop Town and the fashion show playsets. I liked the doll who had blonde braids and you could make her hair grow.

Hi! OMG I LOVED these when I was little! I had the dress show. I never knew anyone else who had them, too. Apparently my grandpa mailed them to me just because. My dad said they were a good toy because it's hard for a little kid to dress a normal baby doll. I am so happy just thinking about these today! I wish I still had mine! =(

I remember having Poptown and the three dolls that went with it. I know I had them before my younger sisters were born, but I can't remember the year, maybe 1980, 1981...

I LOVED my Dolly Pops!! I thought that was the name of them, but wasn't sure because you don't see them anymore. However, just this morning I saw that Fisher Price has something called Snap n' Style dolls that remind me of Dolly Pops. I too wish I was little again to play with stuff like this!!

OOOMMMGGG I am so exited about this!!! someone on here said they had the same set as me- the fashion stage with the curtain and you turned the crank handle and the dolly pops would turn to the side on the stage and disappear into the curtain.hours would go by, and i would still be playing with them!! I just had to show my 9 year old daughter this picture, since I talk about them all the time. she now wants them, my husband won't let me by it on ebay, so sad

I loved playing with these when I was little. I had the "suitcase" with the baby. I was so upset when I lost it in a fire. I just found the twirling stage at a Salvation Army Thrift Store for $2.00--it was still in the box and had all the pieces. I'm going to try to post a picture.

I still have my Dolly Pops safely tucked away in a box somwhere, though I haven't seen them for years. I hope my own children can play with them one day. I loved playing with them as a child - the bride's outfit was definitely my favourite. I still regret that I decided to cut their hair one day! Bad move.

My friend had a doll similar to dolly pops. They were 3-D, not flat, and it seems like the clothes were rubber, not plastic. The doll was blond and you could change her head piece so that she had long hair or short and she had a stage. I can't find these dolls anywhere and can't remember the name! They were roughly 3-4 in tall. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it!

I still have mine. The stage to model clothes still works but a doll and some outfits are missing. My daughters LOVE them. Fisher Price came out with a similar, bigger doll, but nothing beats Dolly Pops and that stage.

Me and my sister had these, I had a brown hair one and my sister had the blond. I remember some of the outfits we had for them...the yellow dress with the hat, night gown, snow coat, bike outfit and I believe a ski outfit. We might have had more but those are the ones I remember. Too bad my mother threw them out as we got older :(
