Description
It had a heated chamber with plastic dome and sliding door, you put a 'block' of hard plastic in this, it warmed up and turned into a dinosaur. Then you put this plastic dinosaur into the warming chamber again, when warm you put it into a type of vise that squeezed it back into a small 'block' which stayed a block after cooling. Anyone remember what this was called?

I think you are talking about The Strange Change Time Machine, a Mattel toy from the late 1960's.
