Description
Fabulous Fred was one of the first hand-held eletronic games - it has a total of 9 games, and you pressed the button on the game you wanted. Made noise and music and it also lit up. One of the games I remember was called Simon Said.

Mine still works too (barely) ... I'd like to find one in better condition, the labels are ripped off half of the front.

I have one, and it still works too. I used to put band-aids over the speaker because it was so loud and I didn't want to get in trouble for playing it at night. It was much more fun playing it with the lights out. The black 'paper faceplate' shows some wear and it's raised in some areas where the glue gave way but it's complete. Anyone still interested in one? email me at swittch1@nycap.rr.com

Bought mine yesterday for 2.95 cents. Didnt work at first due to corrosion on the batter terminals and wires. But i rewired it and it now works fine. Found this site on way to find instruction manual.

I love this game I know for a fact we had 2 of them and then all of a sudden they both came up missing I know it worked fine all we had to do was to put tape on the back where the battery goes to keep it running. I would love to get another one. I was doing research on it and never knew there was pieces for the baseball game, never really needed it. If anyone is looking to sell or no someone who has one in good condition please email me at toinatae@hotmail.com

i have one that is still in excellent condition. i haven't parted with it because it was a really big deal when i got it as a gift as a child. it began my love of electronic games. i came across this site as i was going to donate it to a charity sale finally and was looking for a manual. it's still hard to part with after all these years!

I was 3 years old when I got mine in 1980. Moisture in storage caused severe internal corrosion, I almost cried. I found one (after searching for 10 years) still in the box with all pieces and in excellent condition for $53 USD at EBAY. Keep checking, one will come through! Good luck FredHeads!

I have two of them is working condition. I still have all the roulette pieces and the game boards. My mother took care of all our toys when we were kids and she just gave them back to me recently. I used to play with it for hours when I was young.

I had a lot of fun with one of these as a kid. Recently I was able to pick it up from my grandparents before they could sell it in a garage sale and found it still in working condition, but it's missing half of the box and the baseball and roulette pieces and boards.
