My brother went crazy over the dog when we'd go to the toy store. He finally got one for his 2nd birthday. I still remember when you squeezed his ear he went "Ouch. It hurts! It hurts!"

I remember, in slow motion, my dog falling off of my bunk bed and onto its head. I covered my eyes for fear or witnessing this painful act to my little fuzzy friend only to hear a very comforting "Mmmmm, that feels good!"

i had the white cat. i remember you could press him on the head, ears, tail, feet and under his arms. it always kinda creeped me out though. i still have him!

I had the cat and it somehow got lost in a move. I remember that you could push it's back and it would say "burp, oh excuse me!" If anyone has another cat I would love to buy it.

This is one of my Holy Grails. I've been collecting electronic/robotic toy dogs for a little less than a year now. I didn't actually know about the Feelin' Special Pets dog until I started doing research on electronic toy dogs of the past. From all I've read about Feelin' Special Pets it seems that they are one of the more innovative 80s toys. This is one of three 80s toys I didn't have back then that I desperately wish I did. My Childhood is poorer for not having a Feelin' Special Dog as a part of it.

I had the dog and it was my favorite toy! I remember it used to scare the crap out of my mom at night if she stepped on it and heard , "ouch, that hurts!" I would love to find one and give it to my son.

If anyone knows where I could buy one or if anyone would consider selling me theirs I would be forever grateful! This was my absolute favorite toy as a child. Most kids carry a blanket or a pacifier around with them, but for me Buddy was my comfort object of choice. If anyone has any suggestions on where to get one I would really appreciate!

I just found one on ebay and purchased it. I had the white dog when I was little and my mother made me give it away to my cousin.

Wasn't the gray cat named kickapoo the cat or is that just what I named mine? I can't remember clearly but you guys helped me remember the burping and the that hurts stuff. Thanks for the memories.

I got the dog for my first birthday I loved that thing it's in most of my home movies. The crazy thing is the batteries it came with never got changed they worked for 14yr crazy right. I wish I still had mine but my aunt threw it out along with most of my childhood toys.
