Description
It came in a black, plastic doctor's bag or a beige, plastic carrying case and it had all kinds of doctor's tools in it. There was a plastic syringe, a little red and yellow medicine bottle, an oscope to check ears with, a pretend blood pressure cuff, a pretend stethoscope, a band-aid box with two pretend band-aids, and there was also a pretend cast. Some versions of the kit came with an eye chart.

I had the beige carrying case. I used to like hitting people in the knee with my little hammer. LOL

I had the black case. When I was little and my family and I lived in Detroit, Michigan, I would go and play doctor over at my friend's house. That was a lot of fun!

i bought the beige one from a Toys'n Wheels store in the mall (back when malls still HAD toystores) with my birthday money one year. I think it was 20 something dollars. My dad used to sneakily bring the syringe with us camping and then would chase us kids around with it when he got bored while chanting "IT'S TIME TO OPERATE!!"...

GOOD LORD! I remember my dad had to buy me at least 2 or 3 of these cuz I kept losing the pieces. My favorite were the band-aids for some reason. I guess I got a kick out of snapping them on & off (they were shaped like bracelets) everyone's wrists & ankles. I lost those the most. One of my favorite toys!

I had the beige hard case too. And I liked having someone put the stethescope in their ears & then scream into it. Nice kid, huh?

I came home to visit my parents with my 4 year old daughter. My Mother brought out some of my old toys. It's funny to see my daughter playing with one of my favorite childhood toys. Amazingly enough it is still in wonderful condition.

Aww I had this kit when I was little! Now that I think about it, my mom probably bought it for me because she was (still is, of course) a nurse :).

Y'know, mine never had a case. Maybe my mom got it 2nd hand. But I loved giving someone a pretend shot in the arm and playing with the stethoscope.

I loooved this toy, especially the blood pressure cuff with the dial that would spin when you pumped the bulb. This toy may well be the reason that I went into medicine as an adult!
