Description
The FLEX was a battery powered 4x4 vehicle that would mow down obstacles, and just when you think it was stuck, the tires would expand into flailing rubber strips that would make it virtually unstoppable. There was no remote control- the forward/neutral/reverse lever was on top of the vehicle.

I remember it. As a kid there was nothing like throwing that lever in gear turning those tires into a mean set of aggressive lugs that could climb to the top of all your sisters pile of toys. haha

I had one. I will always remember it. The only problem I had was that the rubber would come off at the "hubcap" on one of the wheels.

I still have mine. I'll have to call mother and have her fetch it out of storage. I can put up a photo when she does.

I just bought this toy from a guy who saved it for his son. I had it as a kid also. @Dave the one with the claws in the tires was the "Animal".Mine has dry-rot tires also, but it is new in the box. About to upload a pic of the box.
