There's some kind of tune way back in the back of my head when I read the name of this. Fairly sure I saw the commercial too many times. Didn't have it though.

the song went like this " a tisket a tasket a flower making basket", this was my favorite toy ever growing up!

the dough was floral scented...my old sister, of course, tormented me by mixing all the colors together until I had brown, rotten smelling flowers :(...eventually I just used regular play doh with it and I think it was lost during the move from the old house to the new...

I totally remember the commercial for this! Didn't you pull a lever or something and the flowers and stems started growing/popping out like play-doh? Crazy.

A tisket, a tasket, a flower-making basket, works like magic, smells so nice, you'll see it's just fantastic! (To the tune of It's Raining, It's pouring)

You had to flip the handle from one side to the other to make the flowers "grow". My little sis and I loved this, but it was hard not to get all the colour mixed together, then you just had ugly brown flowers. I think in the end I forgot to put it away after using it and the playdoh turned all hard and crusty. I'm not too sure what happened to it after that :(

"A tisket a tasket a flower making basket" stupid jingle for an even more stupid toy... I had it and the holes that you pushed the clay through to make the flowers always got clogged and the clay just smelled odd after a while... It was fun for about 10mins though

great concept, but it had issues. the main issue was the play-doh colors mixing together. secondly was the fact that i wanted my "flowers" to dry, but when play-doh dries it begins getting white patches and then breaks apart. still, a memorable 80s toy.

Could someone post a picture if they have it. I never owned this toy, but I wanted it so bad, and I can't get what I remember it to look like out of my head. I need to see it again!

I had this toy as a little girl and loved it! I think I remember it as white and green easter basket shaped. The play doh smelled like roses, ahhh memories!

Anyone have any idea what this toy is worth now?

I had that toy. I mixed up all the different colored dough and it turned brown. I remember the leaves that hooked onto the molds being scented. And boy was that thing hard to clean out. I would end up with a bunch of little dried up dough pieces that got stuck in the little holes in the molds.

I wanted a flower making basket for Christmas so bad, but it was the popular toy that year and I didn't get it. I got it for Easter. It was so much fun. The dough smelled like flowers.

I loved the flower making basket so much! I never got tired of it. Sadly the handle was very easy to break..

My sister had this! I remember it being a white basket and pulling the handle of the basket across to make the flowers grow. The colours always got mixed and they had a scent. Ahhh, memories! :)

I always wanted this for Christmas! I never got it. So, when my 5 year old was asking for this Octopus play-doh set for this year, it brought back so many memories. I make sure her most wanted gifts are under the tree. There's nothing like seeing a child's smile on Christmas morning.

I remembr this so vividly! I found this page because I missed it so much I wanted to buy one. Anyone know where I can find one, even used? LAGymnasticsGuy@yahoo.com if so please. I wanted it so bad for Christmas and both my female cousin and I (we were treated like twins) got one. Nice to hear all the memories from everyone. :)

I just thought of this after seeing some cakes shaped like flower pots. I can't believe it's got a webpage dedicated to it! I got it for Christmas the year it came out and used it over and over and over.

My mom got this for me when I was little. I remember I thought it was cool for a while but my mom REALLY loved it. Weird... She kept it up on a shelf so I wouldn't break it or lose any pieces and always played with it with me when I asked her to get it down.
