I had a black haired Flower Patch Kid, Kelly, they had huge hands and were a cheaper alternative to the Cabbage Patch Doll.....mine ended up in the bottom of my toy chest once I started getting Cabbage Patch Dolls....Poor Kelly :(

I love these dolls!!! They are so cute with their freckles and bald heads. They were my absolute favorite as a child (I loved them more than my Cabbage Patch). I had a blue-eyed doll and a brown-eyed doll. My mom was awesome and replaced both three times since I would either lose them or the stitching would come out from dragging them around. Glad to know someone else remembers them!

I have looked all over for them and can't seem to find one. My mom actually found one like I had as a little girl at a thrift shop.

I had three, authentic, Cabbage Patch dolls, and then my uncle bought me one of these for Christmas one year. Mine looked like the one in the picture (brown pigtails) but with different clothes.

I have one called Dee Dee, named because when I was eight, my brother who was only three, had a stutter and couldn't say dolly so it was d - d - d hence Dee Dee. He looks exactly like the one in the picture but he's bald.

I had one looked just like the one in that picture I can not remember her name, I had to save up and get her on my own because all my friends had CabbagePatch Kids but they were to much for me, and my stepfather would not get me one.And at slumber parties I did not want not to have anything at all.Till this day I do not get into fads, because of that.It felt to bad not to be able to have what my friends did.

Wow, this brought back memories! I also only had a Flower Patch Kid because we were poor and could not afford CBK for my sister and I. It is a bittersweet memory. I remember they had pigtails because they were bald underneath. I loved mine, even if it made us differernt. I just found this page because a friend of the family found one in a box at a garage sale and bought it for my daughter - how cool!

I had a flower patch kid, she had blonde hair and big blue eyes with the same type of booties. She came with brown overalls. I named her Violet because of the "Flower Patck Kids" theme on the box. I loved that doll...

I have one. They are not called flower patch dolls. They were produced by the "blue box" company. They are called flower kids dolls. I have 2 of them that are boys. I still have my original one I had when I was little. It is my best toy without a doubt. My second favorite was my Lion - O action figure lol

My Flower Kid, Penny met an untimely death when our golden retriever beheaded her and chewed off her arms. I think I was about 8 at the time and was absolutely devasted. I would love to buy a new Penny to give to my daughter. Penny had long brown hair and blue eyes. If anyone wants to sell one, please email me eve@solde.com.au

Did they ever make the big 25" flower kid dolls? I had the really big one - it had dirty blond hair - pigtails and its feet were big.

I have two Flower Kids dolls with hair. One was a "countries of the world" doll (I think I still have her tag that said she was from Italy.) The other, I think she was just a regular doll. Their names are Minnie and Maria. Except for some wear and tear (one had an accident and had to be sewed up on the buttocks/crotch area) they are in pretty good shape. I named them Minnie and Maria(Italy doll). They are still part of my family of childhood toys. I even found a lady who makes clothes (made for CPK dolls) that fit them. I also have another doll I think that is a Flower Kid doll (She had the same kind of sewn on shoes like the others) but she's a baby and is bald. My youngest niece is 2 1/2 so she's the perfect age to play with her auntie's dolls.
