Description
Colorful (pastel & white) stuffed dogs. Some came with a little walker like rolling thing that you could "walk" them on. Adorable records for them too!

I never had any of the toys back in the day, but I loved the movie. It's a crime that they never made a series out of it.

Oh I love these! They made adorable stuffed toys with yarn for fur, and had their purple dog-bone logo on their stomachs. I used to own Cool Flup who was white and green with blue eyes and he came with sunglassesthat attached to his ears with elastic. There were also baby Fluppies who were smaller than the Cool Flup one, mine was white with white, pink and blue fur with green eyes. I wish I could find more of these plushies!

It WAS a cartoon. It was produced by Walt Disney / ABC in 1986.

Holy Smokes!! I swear my mom and I have been the only ones who remember these. Everyone I ask had never heard or saw of these guys. I still have my (purple)Tippi dog. If you go on YouTube they have a the movie but it is cut into segments and not the greatest quality. I think they uploaded it from a beta tape.

I just got a DVD copy of the movie off of ebay! I'm so glad other people remember the movie! I actually sent an email to Disney execs requesting they make the series they had intended on making (not that they ever will but it was worth a shot!)

I never had the toys or any of the other merchandise, but I did have the cartoon movie that I recorded off TV more than 20 years. But then the tape got too old and I had too discard it, loved the cartoon though. Watched it bunches. Wished they had the series. I have the Tippi plush that I got from a yarf sale a few years back and still have her.

Even though the cartoon is not in the best of condition and only in segments on youtube, at least it's on there and you're able to watch it. Before, you were only able to watch the very beginning of the intro. I loved the fact that the dogs could talk and go to different places with a key.

I LOVED this show!!! I just recently re-found it all a few months ago. I've been looking for it for about 17 years now or more, and NO one knew what I was taking about! I remember explaining for YEARS to my best friend telling her: "It was this show, with these dogs, that talked and they had a crystal, and went through secret doors!" She thought I was crazy! lol Stanly was always my favorite... =)

I had the Fluppy Dogs Play Dough dog grooming set. It had plastic dome shaped fluppy dogs and you put them on a hair dresser chair and twisted the base after inserting dough. The dough would squeeze out as doggy hair. I remember there being a version with people too.
