In the third grade if you didn't have SOME kind of Garfield stuffed animal, you were a nobody... Period.

Come on now, haven't most of you known a real live cat with an attitude like Garfield????!!!

Most, if not all the Garfield stuffed dolls had hard plastic eyes just like the picture above. My sister and I would play a version of Russian Roulette by throwing it at the other's head really hard. The looser would be hit by the hard plastic eyes and earn a nice bruise.

I had Garfield colorforms that I played with for hours.

I still watch "Garfield's Halloween Special" every year. I know all the songs. I always wanted one of the dolls.

Awww, Garfield!!!! I had a lotta Garfield stuff! The Bed Set, the comics the stuffed Garfield and I remember eating the Garfield lolipops that had a rubber mold to cover it.

I remember the Garfields that had suction cups on the feet, and you could stick them up on the car window. I had one for a long time, until the sun ruined him. Now I have a Garfield with a Santa hat that says "Humbug" on it. He's part of my Christmas decorations.

Oh I lost my first minature garfeild. my om got me two more. i think i still have thme somewheres. sdo any of you remember those garfeilds that stuck to car window with suction cups? people had thme in their car windows till they wer like fadded. lol

G1arfield is the greatest cat ever! Heres why,1- He's fat. 2-He eats lasagna. 3-He hates mondays. 4-He does what ever he wants. 5-He sleeps alot. All of that makes him a true cat. Jim Davis is brilliant! Also,let us not forget about Heathcliff. He was a great,fat,orange cat as- well.

I so happily recall bouncing up and down the corridors of the elementry school with my Garfield bookbags and pencils! A garfield stuffed animal waited on my dresser at home for the bus to drop me off...

Garfield is so awesome!! I still have 2 old Garfield stuffed animals about 12 in tall,and a old Garfield alarm clock that is still working great! He's a classic!

I was OBSESSED with Garfield. I had Garfield stickers, Garfield kids' books, all of the comic strip collection books, Garfield folders and Trapper Keepers for school, pencil cases, etc. I loved all the cartoon specials and even watched the Saturday morning TV show for the first few years it was on. I remember seeing the dolls with the suction cups on their feet sticking on car windows around the mid-late 80s. We had to get one of those, lol
