I had a red plastic Get Along Gang lunchbox as a kid!

As a kid I had a metal pen/pencil holder which depicted the "Get Along Gang". I still have it though my Momma uses it at her house.

I totally had the cheerleader who wore rollerskates:) you know, none of my friends know what I am talking about when I mention the Get Along Gang! I am 26 y.o. :)

I used to watch the cartoon for this on Saturday mornings and I had the cheerleader doll too. No one else seems to remember these guys!

I loved the get-a-long gang!!! I had all of the action figures and the Dottie Dog stuffed animal. My husband thinks I'm crazy, he's never heard of them!!

I remember I had the get along gang backpack in kindergarden. And I had some books too. I do have one friend who knows who they are though. But you're all right not many people know what it was. I don't think it was very popular.

My friend had the caboose and would never let me play with it. The getalong gang were fantastic!!!!!

They were amazing. I remember the characters appearing at a local store for a photo op. I was so excited, I wore red hair ribbons like Dolly!

Nobody else remembers these dolls at all! I was recently discussing eighties toys with a friend and I mentioned that one of my favorite toys was my Portia Porcupine doll - she had no idea what I was talking about!

i wish the networks would bring them back do they realize how many of us would run out and buy them for our kids just because we wanted them when we were kids

I'm 26 and I remember this show. My mom bought my brother Montgomery and I got Dottie. Although at the time my mom was more excited about the dolls than we were. I guess she thought they were really cute.

I need help. I had one of the Get Along Gang books on tape and at the end it had a song that ended "I love you Mont-gomery". I used to sing it over and over to my mom. Does anyone know the title of the book or where I can find it and the tape? Thanks!

Sure I remember the Get-Along Gang!!! I'm 27, and I used to get mad because my brother would want to flip the channel to Thundercats or something like that just as the Gang was coming on, but since he had just had to endure Jem, my mom said I had to let him watch HIS show now. LOL

I've still got Croc and Monty from the Get Along Gang although they no longer have there skates!

Yay! I have been trying to find someone...anyone! that remembers this show! I had Dottie when I was a kid. I am 27 now, and noone, not even someone my age, remembers this show. It is so depressing. I am so glad there are still people out there that remembers and still loves this show.

I loved get along gang! i had a soft doll called porsche (i think),she was the youngest member of the gang! Still remember the theme tune!

I had a playset and two figures, one of them was Portia, can't remember which one the other one was. The playset I had was an ice cream parlour or something, it was a long time ago so my memories of what it looked like are pretty vague. I did love it and the figures though :)

I am also 26 and I LOVED the Get along gang! I still have all 12 of the mini figurines! I had the caboose, but my little sister sat on it when we were kids and busted it. I used to bring it up to her all the time and this Christmas (07) she gave me a new one! She found one on ebay, I think. It was such a funny thing for her to do after all these years! LOL!

Too Young to actually watch this show or remember it. I was only 2 when it first came out. I might have seen it, but I wouldn't remember. I have some books that I got from some book sales and a Bingo the beaver figurine from a yard sale, and have seen a few cartoons of them on Youtube. Bring them back, please!!!!!

I can't believe this! I used to have a sleeping bag that was the entire "Get Along Gang" crew and it was my favorite! No one I know remembers this show but my brother and I would make our own caboose and pretend we were them!

I remember this show..but i just watched the intro on youtube and i was kind of like "huh...i dont remember any of this except the alligator/snake duo and the caboose at the end"...the song didn't sound familiar at all.

get along gang were my fav i had all the crew and wolma lamb and bingo bet it all beaver soft toys. still got them in the loft defo getting them out soon.

It is sooo funny. Noone seems to remember this cartoon when I ask them. I was beginning to think it was something I had imagined. I was telling my kids about this cartoon... I loved it when I was little. I am going to have to find some of them so that my kids can sit and watch it with me. Glad to know I wasnt the only one looking for information on Get Along Gang!! I have the complete set of all 6 of the original character's & the Super Soda Shoppe play set. Does anyone know what they would sell for now?

As I mentioned above I have all 6 of the original character's & the Super Soda Shoppe in original boxes. They are mint & all have the factory sealed tape even though a few of them have broke for being so old & in storage. The Box to the Soda Shoppe is in rough condition but still complete & never opened. I found it in my grandmothers attic. It must have been a gift she had bought for my cousin's but never gave them to them. They all had the store price tag on them but I removed them because they were on the plastic window & blocked the view of the figure. I'm 27 also & I remember these when I was little but I never watched the show on a regular bases but I do remember them.

Shoot the whole gang came out as stuffed animals with roller sakets on. I still have montgomery moose . the roller skates are long gone. my sister has woolma lamb in mint condtion with her roller skates.

My 8th Birthday Party was at a local Roller rink and the Getalong gang was there!!! It rocked. I had about 20 or so of the small plastic figurines, 5 stuffed animals, and pajamas. :)

I think we have a figurine hanging around somewhere and I still have a bag that I used for preschool with the beaver and the dog girl on it sharing an ice cream sundae. I also loved reading the books that I found at the school library.

I had the Zipper Cat Skatin' Plush, my sisters had the lamb and beaver ones. We loved them, until my horrified mother took them away after a local panic. Supposedly the heads were held on the bodies by sharp spikes. Anyone remember that?

I had a Portia Porcupine clippy. She was tiny with a head that turned and her hands were straight out in front of her. I think she was designed to clip to your clothes or hang from a string, that sort of thing. I remember the "Get Along Gang" theme song from the cartoon.

I had the get along gang red caboose toy box. We used to get all the toys out of it climb in and play inside of it.

Yeah, I always so jealous of my friends who had those character-themed toyboxes. They WERE so much fun to play inside! I remember my friend had one that looked like a circus car, so cool. No such toybox at my house, though - my dad built homemade shelves out of bricks and plywood for our toys. Killjoy.

My bros and I had a few of the stuffed animal versions of these. I had Bingo Bet-it-all Beaver, and one of my brothers had the moose. I remember we put one of those easter egg shrink wrap plastics on his antler and heated it with a hair dryer. Any time I happen to see it at my parent's house...the shrink wrap is still on there. Get Along Gang Get along Gang. Each one is special in his own way. Montgomery's the leader and he's such a good sport. Get along gang get along gang. I can't remember all the care bears I had when I was collecting the new ones a few years back but I still remember parts of the theme to a cartoon that aired over twenty years ago. A cartoon I might add I wasn't even that crazy about. What the hell is wrong with my memory?

I am so thankful that there are more of "us" out there. I have felt like noone knew the struggle of knowing that there was a Get Along Gang out there. I can now say I am not crazy.

I had all the stuffed characters (Bingo was my favorite), all the plastic ones, the caboose, even Mr. Hoofnagel's Ice Cream Parlor! I think I even had a table and chair set and a bunch of book/cassette sets too.

I had Montomery moose, and i left one of the skates on the stairs. To the left of the stairs was the lounge.It was xmas day and my dad slipped on the skate and landed in the lounge and crashed into the xmas tree. I thought it was well funny

I bought the Get along gang clubhouse caboose and figures from Ebay last year. My son (26) used to watch them all the time. None of his friends remember the programme either. I have since bought a couple of their dvds. Not sure why after all this time - but I ALWAYS regret selling all his Thundercats figures/cars/caves etc and his big Lego train set - it used to carry his Easter Eggs across the room! And his Ghostbusters figures/fire station/ cars etc and his Virgin Airways diecast car set with helicopter/planes/minibus/cars etc - if only I'd bought 2 and kept one boxed! :(

The cahracters were as follows: Zipper Cat, Dotty Dog, Montgomery Moose, Portia Porcupine, Lolly Squirrel, Braker Turtle Bingo "Bet it All" Beaver, Rocko Rabbit, Woolma Lamb, Rudyard Lion, and Flora Fox. The bad guys were Leland Lizard and Ketchum Crocodile.

"Get Along Gang" was on CBS from 1984 to 1986. One character not mentioned was Hoofnagle (humanized goat), who owned the corner store. In one episode, Bingo Beaver was pressured by Ketchum into shoplifting from Hoofnagle, and got caught. Bingo didn't snitch on Ketchum, but Bingo's friends trapped Ketchum into confessing. One example of this being a good, pro-social program.

I just got into the get along gang. It's so cute and sweet! My favorite character is Flora Fox. I have a small but growing collection of toys. I would love to have a Flora dress-up doll.
