When I was 7 I had open heart surgery and I was still in the hospital over easter weekend, these had yet to be release but mom got a manager to release one early to her because that was all I wanted from the easter bunny! My doctor helped by writting a note saying that the toy would help me recover by having me walk it down the halls! I loved that thing.. I had the white one with the pink bow and named it Pepper!

I got one of these from Santa in the late 80's. To this day, my dad still calls it "Go Go my walking do do" because he thought it was such a stupid thing. But I loved it at the time!

I used to have the one and only orginal go go my walking pup drom 1989. It was white with a pink bow on it's head and the leash was pink too. i remember you could walk go go forward and backward with just the push on the button of her leash. I plan on getting her back for a collector's item.

I remember the commercial with the girl...& a real dog comes up & sniffs at Go-Go & barks at her. I wanted to copy it & walk my Go-Go outside, but my mom didn't want her to get dirty so I could only play with it indoors. Did anyone else lose patience with this thing because of how DAMN SLOW it walked? I did. Consequently I hardly played with her & I think she's still in the box in near-perfect condition.

I didn't think anyone else would remember these!!! Mine somehow got fleas when I took it outside. My mother burned it.

In about a week, mine became GoGo the Headless Pup. Somehow, I think its head is probably still in my closet somewhere --- and I'm 23!

I had the white one with a pink bow and leash. I had it for about five years and then my neighbor broke it. I don't know how she did it. I loved making her walk forward and backward.

I got this for Christmas once and I loved it. It was very slow, though, and so LOUD! XD Also, it would get stuck walking in place on our carpets, so I could only walk it in the kitchen, plus could only go forwards and backwards (you'd have to yank the leash to turn). I loved that little dog but it usually just sat around not getting walked much =)

I remember getting one when I was really little. I didnt understand you had to push the buttons all the tiem so i'd basically just drag it around. But it was my "pet" so it was a fun toy! :) I remember puppy surprise too!

I remember the commercial for the Go Go My walking dog. It came on between Fun House or Double Dare! I think there was a Yo Yo My Walking cat too!

I had one, but I only walked it once or twice. I bet my mom thought it was a waste of money.

OMG, I can't believe everyone still remembers this! I had one that Father Xmas brought me when I was about 7, and I loved it so much, I named her Fifi. Being 7, I was deluded enough to think that when I was out walking her, other people actually thought she was real! Aww Bless! I'm now trying to get hold of one for my little girl, she will love it X

Oh my god, I was 7 years old when this came out and I absolutely had to have it. I asked for it for my birthday and drove myself crazy for weeks waiting for it. I remember being a little bit agitated that it didn't walk faster when I received it

My poor little sister wanted one of these so badly, but never did get one. She also really wanted a "Scamps" puppy that came out the same time. My older bro and I used to rip her up about both of these. She is 27 now and still in therapy 8-p Payback tho, cuz now my daughter wants one (ironically I named her after my sis)

i had one but i remeber the commercial very well. they sand a song that actully said " walking go-go walking down the street..walking go-go" i think i assumed that she was actully called walking go-go. anyway she broke the day after christmas. biggest dissapointment ever.

I, like many of you, always wanted one of these. My parents didn't really buy us toys much, though. My neighbour/friend had one. But she was spoiled rotten and got everything she wanted. I found out they were like $100 anyway, so that's probably why a lot of us never got it.

I wanted this dog so bad I memorized the commercial. Never did get gogo. "i'm walking go-go down the street, she wags her tail like a friend to me. I walk her forward and backwards too, go go my walkin pup I love you! I'm walkin go-go. Everybody's talkin bout the way I'm walkin go-go my walkin pup" Yeah. I need a hobby.

I received Go-Go as a Christmas gift from Santa one year. I also had the white one with the pink bow, and can remember wanting to mimic the girl in the commercial who walked her on the street, but alas, my mother never let me do that. Ah, the good old times!

I had one of these in 1989, despite being male and not interested in fluffy dogs with bows. I do remember it being ridiculously slow. Eventually I cut all of its hair off and slowly disassembled it. Good times.

This dog has been rereleased at least twice. It is now part of Hasbro's FurReal Friends electronic pets line. A new and much improved version was just released last Christmas. They should still be on store shelves as of this writing. I never had the 1989 version, but the version made in 2003 wasn't all that well made. It didn't work properly and the fur had an oily feel to it. As for the 2010 version, it seems to be a lot better than the originals in all that it does. It even has sensors so it can respond to petting. Unfortunately I have not yet managed to add one to my collection and the 2003 version I had is long gone.

I still have mine. I have been trying to find out how much it's worth but can't find anything about it. The tag says 1989 and and model 8470. It still walks, the head and tail doesn't move anymore.
