Description
Small baby puppets. The head was nylon and looked almost like a potato, the body was terry cloth and came in pink or yellow if the doll was a girl and blue or green if it was a boy. The hands were also nylon and it came with a blanket with a hole in the middle and possibly a basket. You put it on your hand like a apuppet and stuck it through the blanket then held it like a baby.

I actually have one of these, and it's still in the box. My Mom gave it to me for Christmas one year, and it was one of my favorite dolls. It came with a basket and a blanket, mine has a yellow dress, so it's a girl. It actually comes with a really neat story too. A lady named Gabriella, who was a designer of children's clothing created them. She had a dream about a rainbow, with 7 bands of color. Each color represented a child with a flag of a different country. She helped the tiniest of the children after he had dropped his flag. She then knew that she was to create dolls for children of many different countries. She made the dolls to look like the tiny child, and she actually made the dolls for seven different countries. She chose the name "Goo Goo" for the dolls because it is the universal language of newborns!! These dolls are very rare, and hard to find, they were made in the mid 80's.

I found one of these dolls in original box never been played with for $4.75. I got this for my daughter to play with, it's a boy with the rainbow blanket and basket. I don't know if it has any dollar value, but if this is a rare doll i think I will let her play with it just sometimes and keep the box and baby certificate, it will be a nice treasure for her to keep.

My sister and I loved these dolls! We would get our mom to play with them too. She did this great baby crying sound that made us feel sorry for the doll haha

I found mine recently with the basket and blanket. The basket was yellowed so I threw it away. Maybe I shouldn't have. :(
