Description

It was a circular hoop like track. You put a ball on it and shake the groove tube, and the ball would move around the track and not fall. (Centripetal motion).

I wanted one of these SO BAD, and finally convinced my grandparents to but me one. It was hot pink and black with a yellow ball. I played with it ALL the time!

The moving company squished the box I packed mine in and I have been SUPER MAD ever since. I am 32 and I would give ANYTHING to have that toy back. I too, would use my groove tube and pogo ball at the same time.

My son was in the groove tube commercial on tv in the 80's. Would love to see that commercial again.

Groove Tube was by Milton Bradley, 1987. eBay has one, slightly used, for $40 (pricey!). The same name was given to a modern day toy from 2012, by Spin-O-Matic. Another "Groove Tube," from 1976, was a 75-minute, R-rated film loaded with toilet humor which co-ran with "Monty Python's Holy Grail" feature in theaters.
