My sister and I couldnt get enought of He-Man and She-Ra cartoons. My sister even bought He-man cartoons recently to subject her poor son to them. LOL

These were great toys! The Castle Greyskull was mine and my brother's favorites. I remember the trap door in the throne room and all you had to do was turn the throne to make it open. Good times!
Matthew - November 21, 2007 - Report this comment
I loved these. I also had the He-Man with the battle-damage armor. Anyone remember that? It sorta frustrated me because it would skip straight from no dents to two dents, skipping one dent. Guess it was a little sensitive.
Kyle - December 21, 2007 - Report this comment
My favorite's were Skunkor, and some lizard what when you pushed his head down he would squirt water. Genius! An action figure that smells like a skunk? Sign me up!
Hannah - January 03, 2008 - Report this comment
We had the He-man and She-ra Christmas special on tape that we recorded off of TV in the 80s and my brother had all the figures. I have a He-man DVD.

He-man used to scare me when I was a kid... He was all muscley, and half naked, and had really goofy hair... I always thought he was going to molest me or something. :(
Sid - April 08, 2008 - Report this comment
The skunk was actually called Stinkor. Anyone remember Moss Man?
Hordak - May 06, 2008 - Report this comment
Yeah I do, he was basically Beast-Man with green fur and smelled strangely of soap...
Garoltveki - June 20, 2008 - Report this comment
MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE is thee all time greatest cartoon & toyline. The lizard guy is actually a snake guy. One of the Snake Men, his name is (Venom Spitting) Kobra Kahn. Mossman was the heroic gaurdian of nature and had a pine smell not a soap smell. My brother and I always watched the cartoon. I own the first 2 volumes of the Mike Young production from 2002 & will have Vol. 3 in August. Then I'll get the 80's version volumes. My brother and I also had all the toys from the 80's until are mom threw them out. Now I have nearly completed my 200x MOTU action figures & statues collection complete with action chipped Castle Grayskull. I also have a 440 stainless steel 50" replica power sword in my sword collection. Along with lunch boxes, cups, shirts, etc. He-Man will live on.
Tri-Klops - September 07, 2008 - Report this comment
My favorite figure was Tri-Klops because he was one of the first figures to have the holster in the back for the sword. I attached a rope to Heman's axe and used it as a grappling hook. Wicked times with the toys.
Jstorm - October 12, 2008 - Report this comment
Does anyone know where I can get a replica of the sword He-man had in the original cartoon? I have seen several replica swords for the more recent Masters of the universe cartoon that came out in 2002 but That is not the sword I am looking for.

I had a He-Man that I got at a garage sale, and he had a weird, built-in, plastic, red, square on his back. It was like a backpack. I never knew for sure what it was supposed to do.
gerallt - December 28, 2008 - Report this comment
That would be 'thunder punch he-man' , I think. The backpack was for putting 'caps' in - you rotated his body and he would throw a 'thunder punch' and the cap would go off at the same time!

My favorite was Man-E-Faces. you could change the face with a turn of a dial. It was even mentioned in an episode of "Family Guy". I wonder how many viewers understood the reference.
KJ - September 26, 2009 - Report this comment
My favorite He-man toy was the cyclone guy that was blue & yellow. The one that had the turn dial on his waste so that you can make him spin around. That toy was fun. Anyone remember that guy? My Mom hated the show but I somehow managed to talk her into buying it for me at a Summer sidewalk sale.

My friends had a million of these. One kid said he would sell me his whole collection for like $5. To us, that seemed like so much money back then. His dad I am sure would have never agreed, lol. I never got into them, though, I loved the cartoon. I watched it relentlessly...

This was one of the biggest hits of the '80s besides GIJoe:RAH and Transformers. I was really into them in the mid eighties. Really had great memories of the cartoon series. I use to watch it every afternoon at my grandmas house.
