I still have mine, but I never called her by "Jammie Pies", to me her names was and still is "Baby Pitty-Pin" and I have no idea where that came from. Purple clothing with white polkadots, yellow trim and a pink bow under her chin, Blonde hair and greenish blue eyes. She still smells brandnew even though she does not look it.

I have had mine since my first Chrismas in 1987. It's the white Jammie with yellow & pink polka dots, she also had the miniature version of herself as a raddle. Well she isn't very white anymore! I have lost her at least 3 or 4 times and found her back I guess it was destiny to keep her. She found herself 14 hours away from home once. So happy to have one of the very rare Jammie Pies. P.S. I may be 20 but I still sleep with mine. =)

OMG I was so excited to find Jammie Pies again! I'm 20 as well and still sleep with mine! I had no idea how many there were. I had the orange and yellow one when I was little and dropped it in a Sam's store once and my grandma had bought me another one. I have the blue boy with orange and the little bear that goes with him. I love them so much!

I have had my Jammie Pie since I was two months old, and I decided to look up what she actually looked like when she was clean. I had no idea how many different jammie pies there were. I have the purple jammie pie with polka dots. I am going to be 21 in october and I still sleep with her and she is still my best friend!

I am amazed and excited to know that I am not the only grown adult who still sleeps with and loves her Jammie Pie. I've had her for twenty one years and just today learned her real name. I just always called her Baby.

I have had my three Jammie Pies since a few days after I was born in 1986. I still love them so much! I actually, upon having my own child, discovered that my mother had secretly stashed a few IN BOX Jammie Pies for my future children... But mine are still in fantastic condition, so I'm going to give my son one of those. If anyone on this post is looking for a PERFECT MINT CONDITION doll... Let me know. My email: raven_boheme@yahoo.com Seroiusly though, how many 22-year-old dolls are you going to find in perfect condition? I'm feeling pretty fortunate, myself.

My Grandaughther had a jammie pie doll when she was a baby. She flew to California to visis her Dad and the doll was lost. She cried all the way home on the plane. We have never found another one. she is now 21 and I would love to find one for her. After all these years she still miss her Jammie.

Wow, who knew so many people still sleep with their Jammie Pies?! I got my purple "Pittipin" version one from my Grandma at my first Christmas in 1987. I am now 20, and still sleep with my Jammie every night. Mine has gotten lost a LOT... many people have had to send her in the mail over the last twenty years. Checked out of a hotel in Hawaii once, made it to the airport, had a sixth sense that I was missing something, and sure enough it was my Jammie Pies. Had to go back to the hotel, and found her face down under bed sheets! The wear and tear on mine is major... including eyes that only have specks of green left, the foot no longer even has the "Jammie Pie" lettering, and I've had to sew fabric over the hands... but it makes no difference to me. I just did an eBay search on these; my version is really rare and is selling at $275! When I saw mine on there, the photo showed the yellow cuffs of the arm-sleeves sticking out, which totally threw me for a loop because mine have been tucked under since 1987! I just realized they actually un-cuff... WOW. Christina-- You said you had no idea why you called yours "Baby Pitty-Pin," but my guess is because you had the "Pittipin" version. Your description matches the one I have, so that makes sense. Ashley-- Check eBay for other versions, but just know it'll cost you an arm and a leg to start a collection!

I can't recall when I first got mine. I always called "her" Jammie Pies though I have now learned it's actually male and is called Spunkle. I don't even recall it having the bear that came along, so obviuosly it is not "in tact." It's a comforting keepsake of mine and I will never get rid of it.

Oh my gosh! My daughter had Pittipin when she was younger....she's now 23. She called her "Pinnikin". When she was about 8 or 9, we adopted two adorable labrador puppies who decided Pinnikin was fun to play with (ooops!). Pinnikin had purple jammies with white polka dots. I would LOVE to find another one to give my daughter!

Wow This site makes me so sad. It make me realize how old I'm getting and how that precious time is gone. I'm 20 going on 21 and I still have my Jammie pie and her pet dog. Never did know it's name till today. Winkum and Nod. I always called her Jamie Pie. My older cousin was named Jamie that's where the name came from, She had a Jammie Pie dressed in a bunny outfit. When I was little I slept with her and my other toys. I seriously had a crate full of stuffed animals that slept wwith me at night. I would play with them till I got tired. It's a wonder I didn't smother with all of them around me.lol

I have had my Jammie Pie since I was four years old when my cousin was purging her old stuffed animals. I'm seventeen now and I still have her and sleep with her every night. She's never been called "Jammie Pie" to me, I've always called her My Special Baby Doll, or Baby Doll for short. She's dressed in a bunny suit with yellow and pink polka dots. Her face is worn and has lost all of its blush, and her eyes are pretty much just pure purple now, but I think think she is still adorable.

I've had my Jammie Pie as long as I can remember. I have pinnikin, she has been in a box with a few other "keep sakes" from my child hood like some cabbage patch dolls and teddy bears in my mother's garage. Recentely I had a daughter of my own and decided that it would be a great time to go through that old box and see if there was anything that I could pass along to my little girl. As soon as I saw my jammie (as I called it when I was young) it brought back a flood of memories and I could'nt help but to sit back a minute and think of all the good times I had with her. I had thought about allowing my daughter to play with her and enjoy her as I did but for some reason its hard to depart with this beloved friend. She's stained and I dont have her little pet anymore but she's still in great condition, and so very special. So for now she sits on a shelf in my baby girls' bedroom until she can fully understand the love that pinnikin holds in her adorable little smile and her tiny white polkadots and be able to give her all the love that her mother so unconditionally gave as a young child herself. It's amazing what a rummage through the garage at least 10 years in waiting can do for a 23 year old womans soul!

My little sister used to have the purple Jammie Pie doll, Pittipin. She lost her a few years ago and it was the worst thing for us to have to tell her. She is turning 21 in December and I would love to be able to find another one. If anyone has the purple one and would sell it to me, please let me know on here. I will check back frequently. Thanks.

He absolutely loves the thing. The one we have looks just like the picture...I am not sure if there are others.

This amazes me. I have "spunkler" but i have called her JammiePie as her name. I got her apparently when i was born in may of 1987 and havent put her down since. It's crazy that so many other ppl from this generation share the same bond with this funny looking little doll. I'm 21 now and i still carry her everywhere i go. that doll has been through thick and thin! craziness.

I got mine the day I was born in 1986, so I was told. I have the "middy" doll and actually found out today thats what his name is. When I learnt how to talk I coined him the name "baby-with-the-yellow-hat" and thats been his name ever since. this doll came with me every where i went. when i was 13 i lost him and was sad for a long time. Eventually i learnt how to sleep without him. My mom called me a few weeks ago and said she found him hidden in the basment (probably the work of my little sister) I love him now just as much as ever... he really is a special doll

I got my Jammie Pie in 1988 for my first Christmas and I took it everywhere with me. my dad was always sewing it back together for me and touching up its face everytime it faded. I have Spunkle and I never knew till today that it was a boy, and that he came with a teddy bear too. Good to know I'm not the only 20 year old who still sleeps with it!

I will be 22 in March and I have had a Jammie Pie since the day I was born in 1987!! I have Winkum, the one with the red and bright green outfit. Since I've had it for 22 years, it's VERY worn. It's head actually fell off so my mom had to re-sew it. I sleep with it every night, and if I don't have it I can't sleep. I have a son now and I would like to give it to him one day, but I just don't think I could part with it. :) I'm hoping to find another Winkum so he can have one of his own. If anyone has a Winkum for sale, please let me know! Just post another comment please!

I got my jammie when I was about one year old give or take a few months. I have the purple Pittipin version (I never knew this was her real name just called her Jam). Over the years my dad has had to do much reconstructive surgery on her but I still have and love her. Guess we're our own special Jammie group. If anyone has any of these for sale I would love to get a new one. My e-mail is turofj@aol.com

I have had my doll since my first chrismas, so december 1988, I wasn't even a year old. And I still have it. It is the boy, dressed in blue with the orange trim. I still have the rattle that came with it. I was about 2 or 3 when I named it Babby Chad. I don't know how I came up with that name, I never knew anyone named Chad. But I remember the exact moment when I named him. I still have him, and while he rarely sleeps with me, (though he does sometime, especially his birthday, chrismas) he does go to University with me, and he will always be my secruity blanket, even when I am 99.

Reading a lot of these, it sounds just like me. I got my Jammie Pie for my first christmas in 88 its the "Middy" model but I always called her (because to me its a girl despite the fact that its suppose to be a boy) Jammie Pie, though now its evolved into just Jam. I still love her dearly, she is like my security blanket and take her everywhere with me, she comes with me.

It's amazing to me how similar all of these stories are to each and to my own. I love the fact that EVERYONE who has ever had a Jammie Pie is 100% in love and around 21 years old! Like you all I am in love too! Mine was just called "Jammie Pie" and has been left in New Orleans and mailed home, has had her silky pink bow sewn on at least 5 times, and her hands repaired multiple times as well. She has been MUCH loved! :)

My grandmother gave me my Jammie Pie (Pittipin) when I was born in October 1986. Because she gave it to me, I still call my grandmother "Nanny Pie" and so do all of her other grandchildren. I lost my doll 3 times and luckily found her everytime. About 3 years ago I left my "pie baby" in a hotel and I wasnt able to get her back. I recently bought a new one on ebay becasue I couldnt sleep without her. It took a while to get used to the new doll but I was so happy to have her back. These dolls are incredible.

I got my doll for my first Christmas. I'm now 21 years old and still have her - or him, I suppose, according to the packaging I've seen it in on the internet - I have Winkum, though I don't remember having the little dog Nod that it came with. I asked my grandmother about it on the phone the other day and she claims there was an incident involving it being dropped into the toilet, but I'll leave out the specifics. Aside from always thinking of it as a her, I always called her Jammie, no Pies, just Jammie. She's got yellow paint on the red bonnet thing on her head, almost no hair left painted on her face, only tiny specks left of the eyes, the collar around her neck is completely gone, one of the pom poms on her feet is gone, no eyebrows what so ever, and a safety pin holds the stuffing in the left hand. She's filthy and falling apart, but I refused to go anywhere without it when I was a kid, so it's love worn. These things really are incredible for children.

Everyone's replies make me feel so much better! I thought I was the only one with this attachment to my Jammie Pies. I had Diddy since I was born (Dec 87), and when my parents saw how attached I was they got me Middy. I was never seen without them. They got me through everything and still do. Diddy's pants no longer stay up (has anyone else had this problem?) and both of their heads seem as if they may fall off! I used to go to sleep rubbbing the Jammie Pie felt on the bottom of their feet, and the anchor shaped felt on Middy's hood, and the felt is now barely there! Had to color their eyes in a few times too. I love these dolls, and I would love to have one to give my children when I have them one day. PLEASE if anyone has any for sale, please email me alexis87xo@gmail.com

someone gave my mom the blue and orange jammie pies at my baby shower. I ended up passing it down to another sister who absolutely fell in love with him. We've always called him Jamie Pie. until today, I didn't even realize there are two m's in the name on his foot... we always thought it said Jamie. When we were little we'd tease her with songs on the radio like "oh oh oh jamie's cryin" and "jamie's (actually janie) got a gun". Jamie is in pretty rough shape now, he even got set on fire once. We put him in the microwave but forgot that he had a twist tie bracelet on! She lost him for a few years, but two years ago we found him in a box in the attic. At 16 he's still her favorite.

I love that I found this! My grandma gave me and my cousin our Jammie Pies for our first easter (probably why she gave us the blue bunny!). I found on a site that my "girl" Jammie that I named "Bunna" is actually a boy named Tuck? She will always be Bunna to me-- I am now 22 and still take her everywhere I go- even on vacation.
