My Dad had one too. The only gift that he got was the Johnny Seven OMA and his Dad broke it right in half over his knee before he even got to play with it at all!! My Grandpa past this spring, so it's a hard Christmas for my Dad, I would love to find the Johnny Seven gun for my Dad, I couldn't think of a better gift then that. Please, if anyone still has one for sale Please let me know. Farrell.Minaker@gmail.com

My dad had one of these when he was a kid and when i was fifteen he showed it to me. It was still in the box and never played with but once. His dad got it for him and only let him play with it once, and so I got my chance. After he passed on I got the gun and now I don't know what to do with it. If anyone would like to make an offer on it you can e-mail me at charmed_student@msn.com

From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, early TV spots for the Johnny Seven (One Man Army) machine gun and combat helmet. This aired on "Tennessee Tuxedo" over CBS (11/28/64). In 1965, Johnny Seven changed from soldier to spy, a take-off on James Bond, in TV ads. Topper Toys made lots of products bearing the name Johnny, including Speed (remote-controlled car) and Lightning (Hot-Wheels-like minis). Production of the Johnny Seven ended in 1970. Don't know why it's in the '80s blog.
