There is currently a big demand for Jumbo Love, as seen on internet forums all over, but they are nowhere to be found. I wish I could still find Jumbo Love! I still have my giant pink dog from when I was a kid, and he is getting pretty dirty and torn by now. I can't give him up, but it is impossible to find anything out about them these days.

I feel really luck. My aunt gave me a Jumbo Love for my 2nd birthday and I still have him!!!

I had a blue jumbo love ages ago. When I moved out of my parents house he was stored away. I loved that thing so much(I know its nuts). My parents were cleaning one day and out he went. I have spent years trying to find another one.

I still have my blue dog Jumbo Love with letetrs all over him. He is 18 years old and it shows. I am still looking to find another one. I too can not give hime up.

My wife still sleeps with her puffy after 20 years...we put him in a pillow case to wash him so he does not fall apart. He has been sewn together numerous times...but he is still alive!!! We had a chance at one but the person wanted 200 dollars!!! That was just too much.

I have a 20 year old plain blue dog Jumbo Love...He's got stitches everywhere to keep his stuffing in, is faded in some places, and the stuffing seems to have disappeared from his paws. :D but I'm never letting him go! I'm pregnant with my first child and am planning on passing the dog to him. No newfangled stuffed-toy can beat Jumbo Love!

I still have my purple hippo jumbo love from 1984. His name is Hippy & I still sleep with him every night. I would die without him. He's been across Canada with me several times & has been sewn together so much. He doesn't even really have the same shape any more cause the stuffing is all out of whack but I don't care I will love him till the day I die. Yes we Jumbo Love fans are NUTS and PROUD!!!

Ah! I'm so glad to have found kindred spirits! I have a yellow bear Jumbo Love - his name is Roger. I've had him about 20 years, I guess. I still sleep with him and I'm almost 30! CRAZY! But, nothing compares to that old yellow bear. I hope we find info on where to find new ones!

I've had my Blue stuffed Jumbo Love dog (his name is Jimmy) since I was 3 years old (almost 18 years now) and I will have him for as long as I live. Many many many fond memories. He still sits in a position of honor in my room, wearing a Marines shirt, and I plan on handing him down to my kids some day :)

Aaaah! I still have my pink dog Jumbo Love 'puffalump' (not a puffalump technically, but what i always called it LOL), I got it at least 20 years ago, if not more... it's been torn, ripped, sewn (with love my by late gramma, she always gave it 'surgery'), and now I sew it myself. OMG! I just recently got married and my husband thinks it's crazy that I still sleep with mine at night! It's so funny I came across this page because I am fixing to give my purple hippo (whose name is also Hippy) surgery- his patch is falling off. :( He has been all over the globe with me and isn't very puffy anymore I just love him so much- and it is so awesome that I am not the only one. I got him on my third birthday (1987) so he is pushing 21 years old.. (i'll take him out for some drinks!)

My girlfriend tossed hers about a year ago because it was completely trashed and it broke her heart. It was a gift from her father as far back as she could remember. It took a year but I found one on Ebay for$30. It is not the same as hers but she loves it.

I received a pink and purple dog when I was young. I alway kept it with me until I was pregnant of my daughter. I decided to unstitch him for create a new one! (I am a dressmaker) Now my beautiful pink/purple dog is a yellow/blue dog with the same pink eyes (I keep the same!!).

OMG.. If this is indeed the toy I think it is, then I have to find it. I was given the blue dog (named Blueberry) at 5, and had him till I was 14. He was my cherished childhood toy. When I had moved, something had spilled on him, and was ruined..nothing could save him. So I had to throw him away. Part of me died that day. I got the Orange Monkey for Christmas when I was 10 yrs old...20 yrs later, I only have rags left (from all the washing) but I can't get rid of him. It might be crazy but I sleep with the pieces under my pillow. About 6 yrs ago, a friend of mine gave me the Pink Elephant because she didn't want it anymore...it's not the same but I'm so happy to have another one.

I love my blue elephant puffalump-my fiance thinks I'm weird for cuddling it when I sleep every night-but I have had it for 21 years and I can't give it up. My puffalump even stayed in the hospital with me when I had my son. I wish I could find a new one and retire my poor worn out puffalump, but alas, they are nowhere to be found.

I remember getting my yellow bear (creampuff) for Christmas when I was 11 and still sleep with him now, even though I'm 32 - I guess I'm not the only one though... freaky! You think they must have put something in the stuffing. It's the only stuffed animal I've ever slept with and it's gotten to the point that if I stay at someone's house I have to sleep with an extra pillow so as I can hug it - otherwise I feel funny. I got the pink dog for my 6th birthday. I use to suck my thumb and rub silky things like my mothers slip and this was to satisfy that need. The dog was forever called Jumbo he would get dirty and torn and my mother would fix him up untill I was like 10 and then I was informed I was too old to have him put back together. I still have the raggedy remains it looks like a dark rose colored knotted string rag. I still sleep with that thing and suck my thumb at night it has been 21 years for me as well...........WOW!

wow, seems like a lot of people have a similar story. I have the blue dog, his name is Puffy. My aunt gave him to me for my first birthday. My sister has had her jumb forever...it has had multiple surgeries, went to college with her, and now will probably go to grad school with her. Everyone loves the Jumbs!

My daughter-in-law came into our family with her Jumbo love elephant.He had been her steady companion since she was twelve. After she had her first child she gave the elephant to him. Dean loved this elephant beyond belief. He took snuffy(the elephants name) everywhere with him. As snuffy began to fall apart, Dean took an arm or leg with him always. To this day he still carries a piece of that elephant with him. Dean is now eleven years old and he still carries a small piece in his pocket everywhere he goes. someday I hope to find another one for him.

I can't believe all the comments here! I have a pink dog Jumbo Love and I've had him for over 20 years now. He really is a member of my family. When my ex-partner and I had a professional portrait taken, Jumbo Love was in the frame! We call him Mr Love or the Big Pink Pimp and all the family make up stories of what he's been up to when we weren't looking. I've often kept an eye out for a Mrs Love for him, but with no success. I'm glad to know I'm not the only mental one out there. I couldn't do without him - he's my best friend and constant companion.

I actualy cried when I found this page. I have a pink and purple elephant with a patch that says "Jumbo love". He's been "remade" several times using the old parts or the parts as a template. I got him when I was less than a year old. I'm 21 and I still sleep with it. (I'm a dork, i know.)

I still have my purple hippo - she's missing an ear, and eye, she's all beat up!! I love her!! And the best, my Nan, who died in 1993, sewed all of her broken parts. So each stitch was sewn with love.

carolyn got her jumbo love from her aunt in NY a Green monkey to help her get through going to day care for the first time after her parents slit up. she carried him everywhere and slept naps with it. Till one day I picked her up from daycare and a not to nice child and mother took it home and never return with it. So jumble love told my daughter four at the time that there love was so big that it would never go away even thou people can hide and be mean try to find the love. I cryed along with her and we never forget the jumble love.

I got it one day as a child when I had a tooth pulled (it turned out to be more painful than expected) so my mother took me to the store to cheer me up and I picked him out. When I was about six, I went to a second-hand store with my mom and fell in love with a Jumbo Love blue dog... my mom didn't want to get it for me, but I pleaded and she gave in. We found a yellow Jumbo Love in really good condition, but I'm not sure if it's a bear or a dog. It has aqua blue round ears and looks more like a bear to me, but it has a tail that makes it look more like a dog. Can someone help?

I have a blue Jumbo Love Dog that doesn't look very blue anymore! and I have slept with him for 20 years! I was forced to put away a few years ago when my husband couldn't look at me sleeping with him any more. I have stitched and stitched him over the years and washed him in pillow cases! My little sister was the blonde girl in the commercial. Now we're in our 30s. I have the original commercial, but only on VHS. She has it on her computer. If I get it, I'll post it. I had no idea how many people loved Jumbo Love and reading these posts has really made me smile. I called her immediately to share the site with her. I believe she still has her Pink Elephant and I know a relative of mine has one still in the box, neither of which are for sale (sorry). I wanted a 'puffalump' when i was a little girl. My mum tried to get one (it was like 'Jingle all the way' - the film)She couldn't find one anywhere, they were like gold dust. So, she got me 'Jumbo Love'. I fell in love with him the minute I opened him on Christmas day. He travelled with me everywhere and has also been to university as well. I'm 32 and have 2 kids of my own now. Jumbo is still where he has always been for the last 26 years, sitting in my bedroom. He has also bee re-stuffed and re-sewn. So, still looks like he did all those years ago. Big Pink and purple doggy with big eyes and a big heart.

I have a Pink Jumbo Love dog and His name is Big Pink Dog. I got him when I was One I believe and have had him ever since. He has been sewn many many times, but not re-stuffed. I have him hanging in a animal net in my room, him the top dog of the stack :)

I've had my Orange Monkey Jumbo Love ever since I can remember...Moved around quite a bit in my years, one day I left my Jumbo Love to a friend to watch it for me but she threw him in the storage unit and a family of mice decided to live inside of my Jumbo Love, when I came to retrieve my precious Monkey...there were holes chewed into his buttox and reeked from the mice's stool and pee. I was heart broken to see my beloved Jumbo Love in that condition...Luckily I had a friend washed, re-stuffed and stitched it back into life!! Moral of the story is...Don't leave your Jumbo Love out of sight. They are one of a kind and almost impossible to find. =)

I remember as a kid walking through the department store with my mom and there was a whole row on the toy shelf of Jumbo Loves. They were all so beautiful. My Nana later surprised me with the Pink Elephant Jumbo Love, she is all tattered and torn now but very cute! I called her Ellie! I still have her! I can't find any other Jumbo Loves to buy even online.

I posted on here not too long ago about my Jumbo love pink dog, named Big Pink dog. I got him when I was 3. I just recently was torn away from him. I moved, and when I got to my new home, he was nowhere to be found. There will always be a hole in my heart. I want to think that maybe someone might have found him, and will give him a loving home.

This is the craziest thing! I've made my husband read this, so he can understand that I'm not the only one who still sleeps with my Jumbo Love. I have a pink dog, named Doddy. I've had him since I was about 3 years old. He is now just a body, 2 arms and 1-1/2 legs. I have a blue dog as well, but I keep that one as a back up in a vaccuum sealed bag. I had found it at a flea market for $5.00. I just can't seem to let go of my current one. Maybe when all is left is the belly button, I'll think about buring him.

I slept with my Puffalump with me for 30 years. Got him when I was 2. Almost never took a trip without him. Even overseas. Good to know I'm not being weird all by myself. Only reason he's not on the bed recently is he's had so much surgery over the years it was time to start sleeping on pillows instead.

My grandparents got me my Jumbo Love pink elephant for Christmas when I was 4 years old. I am now 34 years old and I still have him in my bed to cuddle with. He fits perfectly in my arm. Haha he has been fixed so many times I lost count. Right before leaving for college at 18 years old my mother washed him and he lost all his stuffing… I cried. My mom put him back together for me.
