Description
Small kittens, you could buy them in a small litter, or by themselves, and they sounded like they were purring when you tilted their head.

I still have a calico one with a purple ribbon just like the picture. I enjoyed playing with it, the purring sound is simple but pretty accurate. The kitty currently belongs to my own real cat- the calico looks a lot like his mom, so we gave it to him to play with. Occasionally he'll run around and attack it :)

I used to have two of the JUNGLE-type kittens designed to look like wildcat cubs - I had a tiger one and a cougar one. I have yet to find the tiger one (I'm sure it's in a box somewhere). The cougar one is ooooold and the water balloon that was in it has since popped from being stored for so long...he's scruffy and worn from age and love, but I still am very attached to him. :D

I had one of these too ... the butterscotch colored one. My sister had the calico. I think they were recalled several years back (or possibly the second generation of them). Mine got left in the car on Christmas and the water in it's belly was non-existent after that. I wish there was something like this out now I have a niece who would love one!

I used to have a grey one I got for christmas one year. I loved that thing and have no clue where it ever went! I have been looking for one though, but have had no luck, not even on ebay! :-(

I got a Kitty Kitty Kitten when I was about ten or eleven years old. She is white, brown and gray. Her name is Lacey, and I still have her to this day, although she is very bedraggled with a slightly deflated look. I lost the collar that came withg her, though she still has the bow around her neck.

I got one of these when I was so little that I can't even remember. I named her Dinah when I was about three. She's brown, grey, and white, but so old that there's practically no stuffing left. I'm only fourteen, but I still have mine. She's always been a comfort to me - especially when my parents got divorced.

The cat you are referring to LeeAnn is Furrever Friends (the one with the velcro tails.)

I have a lot of Kitty Kiity Kittens that look exactly like the picture above. But I do have one that is purring when you rattle it's head like normal. The thing is... I got it a long time ago and I remember that she came with a pink color and a pink bracelet for me, that my others didn't have. Also, she has rocks in her paws instead of cotton. I have a black one from my cousin when it came around this time and it didn't have the pink color. They are the same size, but I do not think that it is the same. I have a picture of the mystery cat (which was also my favorite stuffed animal) but it looks like I cannot post pictures on here.

Actually it was a Kitty Kitty Kitten. It looks exactly like the jungle cat, but not fluffy... Had a lot of love! :)

I have the one that the lady is holding in the picture. I am 18 now, and have had it since I was around 5. I used to sleep with it every night, and it still sits on my shelf.

My mom bought one of these 8 years ago for my new kitten Leo. He was lost from his mother very early on and she was afraid he missed his siblings. He is not a 20 lb black cat who still sleeps with the Kitty Kitty Jungle kitten and paws it to make it purr. We will also carry it around in his mouth to his food and water bowl. As far as he is concerned the kitty kitty is part of the family too!

I got one of these when I was about eight, and years later when I got a dog, she found it and fell in love with it. She played with it so much that we got her a new one every year, because they kept falling apart... until one year they stopped selling them! It's so sad, she's just left with the shell of a grey one, and I can't find them anywhere. eBay, why hath thou forsaken me?

I had a bunch of the mid-90's furry ones like in the first picture, and I kept them in a basket -- lord, the racket they made drove my parents crazy! I kept them for a good while though, which actually came in handy. When I was in Jr. High I played Alice for my school's production of Alice in Wonderland and I used my gray one as a Dinah prop :)

My GOSH, I remember that. I got one when I was about four years old. I think I had the same one as Carly and Becky -- it was a brown-gray, with black and white ears, a white mouth and belly, and black paws and I think tail. Kind of like the one in the second-to-last picture, but grayer. I called her Dina (pronounce die-nah), too, and used her once in a fifth grade "Fractured Fairytales" play (I was like Belle but with animals). I lost her shortly afterwards, though -- I think she's in a box in the garage now. I was looking through photos with my mom last night, and there were a lot of photos with me holding Dina. There's even one of me actually getting her for Christmas. It's in front of me right now. I'm sixteen now. I wanna find her.

I've had my Kitty Kitty Kitten since I was about 8. He doesn't have a bow anymore, nor does he have much of his stuffing..or original color, hahaha. I think I named him Spark but the name never stuck, so he's always been Kitty Kitty, the Kitty Kitty Kitten. He still sleeps at the head of my bed, next to my pillow. He's there every night, even when I'm away at school. I used to sleep with him so he wouldn't get cold, but he would fall out of the bed every night. When I go away on trips he comes too, and I usually end up carrying him by the leg, which drives my mom insane..probably because I'm 20. XDD I found this page while I was looking for recall information. I recently heard some of these guys got recalled for toxic water in the "purr ball" and I've had chronic headaches for years now. Every holiday when I'm home from school my mom always asks whether or not I threw out Kitty Kitty seeing as he may be the source of my problems. ..Still can't give him up, though!! Completely pathetic or true love, I duno, but he's got such a sad face I can't throw him out.

I had one of these when I was like 7, the butterscotch one. I kept it until I was 12 when it got damaged in the fire that messed up my house and pretty much everything I owned. When I was like 14, I found one that was EXACTLY like it again and was so happy! Then I got in a relationship with this boy and was so in love with him, I gave him my prized kitty as a "promise ring" sort of gift. When we broke up 3 years later, he refused to give it back along with a few things that I let him borrow (even though he made me give back all the gifts he ever gave me /: Messed up much?). I hate it so much because I know I'll probably never get another one like it again. It was my absolute favorite toy...It still makes me cry knowing I'll never have it again all because of that jerk...
