Description
plastic, 3 textured plates (rear, middle and front of a van) were inserted into a holder and a piece of paper was placed across the plates. You then rubbed the side of a crayon across the top to get "relief" of the plates. You could make hundreds of different van styles.

The correct name was "Little Van Gos", as in Vincent Van Gogh. It may have used the slangy "Lil'" but I'm not sure.

ACTUALLY THEY WERE CALLED "LITTLE VAN GOES" - MY BROTHER HAD IT AS WELL AS THE "MIGHTY MEN AND MONSTER MAKER". I HAD "FASHION PLATES" AND THE "GREAT GREETINGS" CARD MAKER. WE HAD HOURS OF FUN WITH THESE TOYS. I'VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR A "LITTLE VAN GOES" SET FOR MY OWN SON AS KNOW HE'D HAVE A BALL WITH IT. i CAN'T FIND ONE FOR SALE ANYWHERE! DANG!
