These were stuffed animals that were supposed to be homeless and sad. They "Cried Real Tears" because they needed a home. (You fed them a bottle of water and squeezed their tummies to make the tears fall from their eyes). So cute!

I asked for one of these for Xmas one year and was over the moon when I unwrapped it and couldnt wait to try it out. I filled up its little water bottle, gave it a good feed and cried myself when it would only cry out of 1 eye!! My mam took it back to the shop and I never got a replacement! How I cried!

LoL I still have my lion with his green bib and bottle! I named him Lambert after the cartoon "Lambert the sheepish lion". My sister had the white rabbit with floppy ears. I think hers still has its bib and bottle, too. I remember I only used it to cry once or twice because it took a really long time and a whole lot of squeezing for it to cry and then it wouldn't stop.

Does anyone know how much people are able to sell these? I have the puppy in good condition and am considering getting rid of it (and about a dozen of my old 80s toys) but only if its a price that will be worth the hastle of posting it on ebay. My email is if anyone could help me out with advice here. Thank you!

I have had my beloved "Mick", a Lost and Found Koala bear since I was about 5 years old. He is pretty tattered, no bib, bottle or tuft of hair, and my dog chewed one of his ears partially off many years ago, but he is just as precious to me now. 21 years later, I am looking for another koala in good condition that I can buy, I would love for my future children to have one also. Email me at

Hi, I'm looking to buy a lost and found pet from someone who's looking to part with theirs. I had a grey cat when I was little and would LOVE to get one for my daughter. If you have any you want to sell please let me know which ones and the price you're looking for !! (A grey cat one would be great but any will do)

Ha. I was just traumatized by mine, I couldn't stand having a toy I could never make happy, but couldn't ignore it because it was SO SAD.

I had the cat, but I didn't want it to cry. So, it still has the bottle still zip-tied to it. And the original bib. It's very mint.

Summer of 1986 I bought a toy rabitt on holiday in Italy. It was pink, rather big(arms length long appox) and had a small record inside so that it could say things like "mama", "ti amo" and stuff like that. Its face was cute as a doll, big brown eyes with long lashes and small freckles on the cheeks. I named her Bambino, but I dont know if that was the brandname or anything. It kind of had the same body like a monchhichi toy, but I dont think its the same brand. Anyone have ideas??
