Description
Major Morgan was a blue device shaped like a Palm Pilot (in todays words). It came with these little music sheets that you would slip into a keyboard (with the alphabet) and play music on it. That is the best way I know how to describe it.

Adored this thing. Don't think my parents felt the same as it "disappeared" on me. Were they more popular in the UK? When I search for them on Ebay most of them tend to be from there.

My cousins had one, and my kind Aunty lent it to me cuz I loved it sooooo much, but my big brother stole it from me causing an argument, then proceeded in making such a horrendous noise with it that my mum confiscated it, and alas, it was never to be seen again! sob!

i still have my major morgan from when i was a kid. i still use it today in my musical endeavors. i like to hold it up the speaker on the back to the pickups on my guitar when i play it and i send it through my effects pedals and out my amp. it sounds amazing with some octave and delay !! the high d is messed up on it though, but it produces a really great noisey tone.

I loved major Morgan! he was a great toy! I reckon they should being him back! Hawkins bazaar is a great place for discovering old retro toys so they should bring him back there! I always found the sheets with the toy easy to play and they were great to learn music with.

I had one of these when I was about five years old. I didn't have the new, improved softer sound version, so my mom always made me play with outside. When the batteries started going dead it would make this feeble "toinnnnggg" noise. Sometimes I'd hold it right up to my ear and press the buttons. That could explain why I have trouble hearing today...that or playing my walkman too loud... :P

I have Major Morgan and most of the music cards. But I don't remember how you translate the cards (colors) to the ABC keyboard. Can anyone help?

I have a Major Morgan Organ that I gave to my son on his 7th Christmas, 33 years ago, and it still works! I laminated the cards to preserve them. I have been playing with it today, and it is so much fun. I didn't have time 33 years ago to play with it. I had three other children, who were 11, 9, and 5, at that time, so it went through 4 kids, and my day care children, too. What a great toy!

I loved my Major Morgan. I used to make siren sounds with mine when my dad was driving. I would sit behind him and do it so he couldn't reach me. Oh he would get so mad at me. LOL!!! I intend to get me one and one for my granddaughter. The wonderful memories I have with him.
