I had one to. I absolutely loved it. I wish I could find more things on the old show. I only remember the beganing cause they would all pile into a limosine with a jacuzzi in the back.

I bought tons of Maxi dolls for my daughter, 23 now. I was SO disapointed when she got phased out! Nicer clothes, realistic body image and no one bound the girls feet! Barbie and Plastic Surgery-Maxi better-forever!

I remember Maxi, if I remember correctly she was scented too.

I loved Maxi! I don't think she was scented though. I remember she had pale pink lipstick.

I'm not sure if she was actually scented but I do remember her having a smell. I've told my husband about that before.

I remember Maxi. About the smell...she came w/ a pink heart-shaped necklace that was scented, if I remember correctly. I do remember that she was more normal sized than Barbie. My Maxi shoes also fit my Jem dolls.

I have a maxi doll i found at a thrift store. She dances in circles to the tune of 'hey jude'. cant even find one on ebay. Anybody want it?

The Prom doll Maxi was "scented" I remember because when I was a kid, I got it played with it for an hour and then my mom realized I was allergic to the scent as my eyes had swollen up and I couldn't breathe (no other "new" thing introduced at the same time)

The first prom Maxie was perfume scented by Hasbro, but I had her redhead friend Ashley in sporty clothes--sweatshirt and jams. I always thought she had a different smell to her. Not that Hasbro made her scented on purpose. And it wasn't plastic-like or chemical either, just sort of different. I've never smelled anything like that again. I still have her. She's very pretty, but 22 years later has no scent. Those dolls had amazing hair. It was way better quality than Barbie's hair. It was very silky and you could leave it in a style forever, then take it down and it would be good as new! No dents!
