Description
Before the cardboard boxes of today, Happy Meals used to come on plastic containers. There were round spaceships and train cars that connected together. I have found a picture of a yellow spaceship dated 1982.

I have the submarrine and several of the space ships my mother had strung up and hung in my room to this day. I never knew they were that old, now I have to sit back and review my life as it was.

I've always felt that the best Happy Meal toys were the "Transformers" that turned from McDonald's food items into robots or dinosaurs :)

I wish McDonalds would come back with dark meat Chicken McNuggets not just plain white meat ones! Man the 80's rocked!

I want to find and buy the toys thatlooked like pencil carriers. They came in red green and maybe blue and had pictures of Ronald, the fry kids, hamburglar, grimace etc. They had a handle in the "M" shape and were too skinny to be a lunchbox. Seen them on eBay a couple times but no luck recently. If anyone has one, please email me at nicolekunz777@gmail.com Thank you!!

McD's toys were the best in the 80's! My son gets the toys now and most of them suck! The food sucks now too. They used to microwave it and send it down into a warmer until it was sold. Now it just sits back there after it cooked 15 minutes ago on the assembly line and put together as ordered and comes out cold.
